The location was perfect to reach city center by foot and parking was available nearby. Service was perfect. Breakfast, lunch and dinner where ok. The chinese restaurant was a very good supplement with good service. All over, the hotel is a very good choice for Flensburg.

Staff appeared to be more concerned with getting to shift end than serving customers. While friendly, they ran around the courtyard bar outnumbering guests by 2 to 1, and it still took ages to be served. Then they took last orders at around 8:30 pm. At 9 pm the place was dead. The restaurant was not open for dinner that night either.

Centrality of the place. Everything in walking distance. Nice seating and atmosphere in the inner patio / courtyard. Parking nearby was very convenient and relatively inexpensive.

The fitting of the room. It was very empty and the bed was not as comfortable as I thought it would be. A seating area and some pictures on the wall would be nice. The bathroom had no light switch.

The pillows, they were so lumpy and uncomfortable to sleep. I did ask reception for a different pillow, but that was exactly the same. Towels are too small, had to use extra ones.

We came here in the summer. Location is great for shops, restaurants etc. 5 - 10 minutes walk. Excellent food in the hotel. Staff very helpful and pleasant. Parking is very close to the hotel. Not far from the border of Denmark, which is worth a visit.

It was warmer this time of year than usual. My only complaint is that there were no ceiling fans or A/C. Windows we’re left open so it was cool at night, but VERY noisy outside. It eventually quieted down but it took awhile.

It was so close to the strasse. Very easy to get around.

Comfortable and clean room. Friendly staff. Good breakfast. Walking distance from town centre. Very quiet despite located on a main road. Good parking arrangement with public carpark close to the hotel.

We didn't get our room at Alte Post due to some mistake at their side, we instead got a room in a nearby hotel, that experience was beyond expectations! However a great servicemind from hotel personnel, mistakes happens.....

We didn't know there's an option of a room with a little tricky access only taking small staircase. It didn't cause any troubles but people with handicap (even lower degree as in our case) should directly request a room on the floor where the lift goes to be on the safe side.

Great breakfast buffet where anyone can find what they like - warm, cold, sweet and salty breakfast type available. Perfect location right in the center. We had a beautiful view of the harbor.

We had twice diner at the hotel and the dish served to my wife was too salty! This is the only thing.

We booked last minute 2 rooms and the rooms were close together as requested. The rooms were very big and with large windows ! Beside the nice view (3rd level), the bathroom was big, very clean. The hotel is very well located, easy to find and the staff is very friendly.
