You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

SpainWe had a very comfortable room at the back of the hotel. It was a good size with a well appointed bathroom. The staff were very welcoming. It's very close to the lake and a short walk to LIndau. The trains run from the island. Highly recommend is the restaurant Villa Alwin am see along the lake.

GermanyThe room doesn't have air-conditioning at all, so in summer it becomes a sauna! in addition, if you take a bath, you should live with steam! we don't recommend it in summer.
The staff was quite friendly. When we requested an additional ventilator, they promptly provided one, even though it turned out to be damaged and completely non-functional! The bed and room were clean.

We were late and the arrangement made for us by the staff were amazing. A welcome bottle of wine from local winery with a lovely note was at room. Next day the staff was super helpful.

GermanyThe room was very small and uncomfortable. The hotel is next the to train tracks, and a crossing. So it was a bit loud. The bathroom needs modernizing. There's a bathtub with a glass shower door. The shower door didn't stay in place and swung open over the WC. I didn't even risk taking a shower in fear that I might flood the bathroom. The beds were quite low and hard to get up out of for an older guest. No elevator!
The personal were very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good. The wifi connection was fantastic.
