It would be nice to have a water kettle and some tee/instant coffee in the room. Also a small fridge is quite common in such properties and useful especially when you are travelling with small children. And the breakfast a little underwhelming.

The property is right in the middle of Lindau island, everything is accessible by short walks. It was also clean and tidy. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The room needs a bit more shelving especially in the bathroom as no place for 4 peoples worth of toiletries. The room looked out onto back of property and other buildings windows and balconies, so needed to keep curtains shut as there were no privacy blinds/nets.

I booked the family room for 4. This had 2 double beds which were comfortable and the whole place was clean. The hotel is in the middle of the tourist area on the island, so easy stroll to all the old town and restaurants. There was no fan in the room but this was provided when asked for. Reception staff friendly and helpful. We travelled by car and parked out of town in park and ride P1 parking (the shuttle for this doesn't run so it may have been cheaper to park in P2 and walk in as closer.) we caught bus number 5 from the nearest stop which was easy to do.

Stairs to the top floor are quite steep and difficult to navigate. No fridge to enjoy cold drinks on the balcony.

The responses regarding parking could have been clearer in advance, but when it came to it, there was no problem at all - except that the (civic) parking was expensive.

We chose not to have the breakfast, but to eat out at one of the many cafes in the area. THe room was perhaps a bit minimal, but everything was there and worked perfectly.

Our family really enjoyed the breakfast! The food was fresh. There was a nice variety of foods. The breakfast area was comfortable and the hotel staff was so friendly and helpful! The hotel is in a wonderful location! It was easy to walk to shops and restaurants and to explore the quaint island. The staff was very quick in responding to our questions prior to our stay which was helpful as we made our plans. Check in was easy.

we were assigned the top floor (5th floor), it was tough to drag our luggages climbing the stairs after a entire day traveling from Vienna. wish it has an elevator.

Bathroom not very clean. No elevator if you have luggage. Hotel staff member had very bad breath and kept breathing in our faces and personal space. Breakfast and Taxes included and paid via Booking.com, but excluded upon arrival at hotel, so hotel staff started huge argument.

A beautiful small hotel in the middle of the Insel in one of the historic streets. Check in was easy and the room was delightful, large and looked out over the houses. It was on the 3rd floor and there is no lift but this wasn't a problem for us. The bathroom was quite small but totally adequate. The hotel was incredibly clean and very well looked after and cared for. Our bikes were stored in a secure room which was easily accessed from the street. The breakfast was wonderful with a great choice of buffet.

For me personally, the pillow was uncomfortable pillow (too soft and large) and I hate Shopping Mall music (especially when it is played distractingly loud) at any time, but especially, I discovered, first thing in the morning over breakfast!

Fantastic location right in the middle of the charming old town of Lindau. Large bright room that was clean, quiet and with very comfortable beds. The staff were without exception very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive, fresh and with the best hotel cappuccino that I've had in a long time! Next time that I plan a weekend break in Lindau I will definitely want to stay here again, and I can only recommend that others do so too.
