Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IrelandThe LOCATION is horrible. Never go there when travelling with kids or on your own or in case you are not intrested in drugs, prostitution, etc. It's the most dangerous area I guess.
The hotel itself is OK. The room was clean and tidy. The receptionist was very supportive and friendly.

IrelandThe location was the only thing off about this hotel. While it's located in the red light district and doesn't look very pleasant, it didn't seem dangerous, and people didn't bother me as a woman walking alone.
Hotel was so nice. Very clean, every part of the hotel smelled incredible. Staff were overall nice and friendly. I had a look at the sauna and gym, didn't use it but it looked great.

FranceThe location is horrible. Lots of drug dealers, junkies around. It is quite scary to walk to the hotel. I would highly discourage you if you are booking with your family/wife/girlfriend. The bathroom was horrible. It was almost impossible to get into the bathroom, as the door was hitting the shower leaving a minimal space to enter. I was absolutely disappointed.
The staff were ready to help all the time. The value for money.

United KingdomBe aware that this hotel is located right in the middle of the red light district. . As a solo female traveller I did not feel safe and would also not nrecommend this for families with children . There was drug use right outside the hotel. My room was nice but there seemed to be no sound insulation so you could hear everything in the corridor very loudly. My r oom felt very dark as it was mostly lit by LEDs. No ceiling light.
Modern, big room and bathroom. Clean.

United States of AmericaRoom was not as warm as I would have liked it to be in spite of having the heat as high as it would go. The comforter only covered the top of the bed. Not bad for one person, but had there been two people. might not be good. There is no airport shuttle offered by the hotel even though booking.com indicated they did. The reviews that report the area as not the best, are correct. there is a lot of visible drug use, smoking and needles, and more. I did not like that at one point there was no one in the lobby when i returned around 3am. There was a not saying that they were working elsewhere in the hotel. Even though the desk was not occupied no one ventured into the lobby. my biggest dislike was that i called for a wakeup call and got no answer. I left a note on the reception desk computer keyboard requesting a wakeup call with time and room number. In the morning, the staff said he didn't know, i then pointed to the sign, and he said, oh i forgot. his mistake caused me to take a cab 35 euros to make sure i arrived on time for my flight. if i been called i would have had breakfast and took the train for 7 euros.
east train ride from airport. Hotel was a 10 min walk at most. 3 trains will take you directly to hotel area and walk 5 - 10 minutes to hotel 7Euros one way and it took less than 15 minutes. Cabs were readily available outside the train station if you don't want to walk. Bed & pillows were comfortable. There are several restaurants in the station and in the area. There is a very nice shopping area with moderate to high end shopping about a 15 minute walk I didn't have breakfast, but it looked more than adequate and had hot and cold items and beverages. There is a small work out area and a small sauna. I was perfect for my short stay. i was out for most of the time and only slept at the hotel. I was upgraded to a larger room. the room had a very strong smell of cologne or a strong scented cleaning product. I would stay again and might stay for a few days. If you consider this hotel. Keep in mind that it is not a neighborhood where you go to a cafe, sit and have coffee, drinks or a meal outside For the cost is a perfect place if you plan to be on the go a lot. I never got bothered or approached by folk in the area when walking around or going in and out of the hotel.

LithuaniaBut not enaught clean room (floor, windows). The worst thing - big price for simple room with wiev to the dirty street with uncredible sound of music (till 7 a.m.). Maybe it is my fault that I didn't check that I have ordered this hotel and we lived near the train station. We were afraid to go outside.
Breakfast was good and on time, stuff perfect.

NetherlandsThe room was small and stuffy, the floors in the hallway worn down. We were on the 5th floor, but starting early in the morning there was a stale smell from the kitchen that lingered most of the day. The view of the small window was mostly blocked by big pipes and there were pigeons living 10 cm next to the window ;). At night there was a lot of noise from the streets, the train station and bars, so definitely bring ear plugs. As described by more visitors, the neighborhood isn't pleasant - it felt very dodgy and not too safe. Coming from Amsterdam, we thought upfront it would be okay for us. But it's not just one or two people on the street, there were multiple small groups of drug users, dealers and homeless people around. Would't recommend staying here because of it.
The biggest plus is the staff: they were super friendly. The bed was small but comfortable, the bathroom was pretty spacious, had a good shower and toiletries provided. It's within walking distance of the Hauptbahnhof, just a few minutes.
