The shower head was always looking to other direction, it is quite difficult to iron shirts with local iron (it's without steamer). There is no home shoes.

Staff is very welcome and supportive; room is quite big and it's warm. Breakfast has enough choices and coffee is good. At reception you can buy wine and some food.

The walls were thin enough to hear the nextdoor neighbour coughing through the night.

Ideal both to explore town and head up to the vineyards.

Very friendly staff both on the reception and cleaning. Great service. Real pet friendly hotel. The hotel provided us with a small blanket and water and food bowl for our dog. We travel frequently with our dog, and this was the first time a service was provided in exchange for the extra fee we always pay for our dog. So, it was a nice surprise. Great location. Easy to get around from the hotel.

The staff are extremely nice and the breakfast was DELICIOUS! Worth the euros! I love that the toilet is separated from the shower so it makes it easy for everyone to get ready.

A bar would have been a nice but they did have a self service drinks and snack area for payment at reception. Car parking charge was a little high but no real complaints as this appears to be more common now at a lot of hotels. If helps to deter guests driving to locations, then its good for the environment.

Nearly everything about this hotel was perfect. The staff, breakfast, cleanliness and location.

The following is a suggestion rather than a negative point: There is a local newspaper available free of charge in the breakfast room. That's a great service, which could be even better if you added a paper in English/French for your international guests.

Perfect location, only minutes away from the town centre with its sights, restaurants, pubs, and shops. The hotel is very clean with friendly staff and modern, pleasant facilities. Outdoor parking or a spacious, bright garage are both available against an extra fee. You can buy soft drinks, beer or local wine at the reception desk. An extensive breakfast buffet allows for a perfect start into the day.

Hotel easy to find, in good location for access to the city centre, and with its own car park. Check-in efficient, informative and friendly. Room very clean and comfortable, plenty of light and space, with external shutters for night time. Very good breakfast with wide choice of food.

Unfortunately, having opted to conserve energy by not using the air conditioning and opening the window, there was the sound of some kind of generator or fan outside the window. However, this hotel is smack bang in the middle of the most convenient location for the city centre. Some noise is to be expected!

A superb, warm welcome to the hotel after a very short but torrential walk from the station. Lovely soft beds and immaculately clean facilities. Fantastic range of snacks and drinks for purchase including options to microwave locally cooked meals. There’s also an incentive for guests who would like to reduce their room cleaning for environmental reasons. Breakfast buffet provided a real range of options in a lovely setting.

The night where a bunch of football fans were "loudly commenting" on the match in the car park until after midnight. The night manager managed to persuade them to quieten down (thank you very much). The loss of the restaurant - we really enjoyed our meals there on previous visits; the microwaveable meals in the breakfast room are not so attractive.

Hotel is comfortable. We really appreciated two proper, comfortable chairs in the room - in many hotels you only get one. Breakfast is great; the coffee in the flasks is better than that from the machine and don't miss the hotels own muesli and the honey from their own bees Staff were very friendly and helpful in answering our queries about using the local buses and potentially using a different train station.

The sofa bed made noise with every movement, so we woke up regularly.

The room was specious, as was the bathroom. There was a separate shower. Breakfast was good, there was enough variety. Location was good, walking distance to the center.

The staff was super nice and attentive. The room was a good size, with a comfy bed and very clean. Shower had good water pressure. I really liked the special deal where you could get a bottle of wine in exchange for only having your room cleaned at the end.

Only negative was cost of secure parking in underground garage - wondered why it wasn’t busier - but like me if you value your motorbike it’s your only option to pay up -
