Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

The lack of fridge in the room was a bit inconvenient Breakfast didn't have any hot food options beside pancakes

A small detail but when you have the reception in front of the hotel entrance the staff must greet the guests when they enter and try to know how things are going with the stay.
Everything you can expect from a Holliday inn hotel. Simple but comfortable, friendly staff, nice breakfast and all the main amenities for a short stay.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel! Everything was clean and pleasant, the bed was comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. Really loved the breakfast selection as well. The location was close to the centre and the public transport. I really recommend this hotel! Will be staying again.

We had a terrible drain smell in the bathroom. We reported it and although the receptionist undertook to do something to it, the problem was not solved
The location is perfect. Nearby almost everything. The staff is friendly and the breakfast reasonable.

It would be great if they had a fridge in the room
The room was faced the opposite side of the hotel, the breakfast was good but they didn't have any hot food, the location was very close to the center and the were few tube station and a bus stop near by.

Sofa bed is not comfortable, but the main bed is good. Breakfast area is quite busy in the morning. Room was quite hot so had to open the window to let air in.
Location is very good. 5 mins walking distance from the station. Local shops around the area. Very helpful staffs.

Gluten and lactose free options not evident via signage. Also no list of ingredients on breakfast cereals. Water was very expensive either at the bar or onside self service

The room had poor ventilation - it was very hot and it was impossible to ventilate the room after a shower. Also, one morning at 10:00 a.m. the cleaner came to clean our room without knocking. And our room faced the street and it was very noisy - we slept with the window closed, but the noise from the street was as loud as with the window open.
Great location, comfortable rooms, delicious breakfast.

We booked 2 rooms and the second had a room with window that couldn't be opened. There is no airco, so it was very hot. They have changed our room next day. Breakfast was missing eggs. Only cold food was available and drinks.
The location is good, there is Edeka right in front of it. Rooms and bed were comfortable.

Bathroom sink needed a bit more of a clean, and the table in our bedroom was a little wobbly, but neither dampened our stay at all (and if we had raised the issues with staff, I’m sure they would have addressed them promptly).
Excellent, quiet location. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast range was great, and the atmosphere was lovely - would 100% book again.

Room was a bit on the small side. Items for sale at reciption were very overpriced. No bath in our room. No view.
Overall he place was spotlessly clean. The staff upon arrival were very helpful. The room was nice. Not much of a view and a touch on the small side. It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. The bathroom was a good size. No bath in our room. It didn't bother me, my partner was a bit disappointed. Breakfast was really god. There was an excellent selection of cereals, juice, bread, sliced meat, teas and coffees. Great value for a very central location
