Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Bit of confusion with paying, but all cleared up so fine!
Very nice, they cooked the perfect fried egg on request. Very nice large room with great shower. Close to station easy to get around the area.

The continuous ventilation in the bathroom was a little noisy but we understood that this is absolute necessarily for preventing the walls humidity.
Clean room, modern bathroom, comfortable bed, free parking, very good breakfast. Very delicious meal at the restaurant and excellent service! We appreciate a lot the way they managed the restauration of the historical building, how they blended old and new staff. Great job, congratulation! Hope to go back there soon for more days!

The room was newly renovated. Modern, spacious and pleasant. Large bed that was very comfortable. The restaurant was good, with nice choice of classic Franconian dishes and a seasonal menu. Breakfast was the best, with a good supply of bread, hot and cold dishes and fruit, yogurts etc.

Everyone was really friendly. The room was modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and breakfast. Great stopover on our way to Lake Bled. Would definitely stay here again on another road trip.

Simply everything. The reception, the room amazingly organized and renovated, the cleaness, the bed. Even the breakfast, which was originally and temporarily, served at the bakery nearby was excellent.

Trying to use public transportation to Nuremberg city center wasn't close or easy to do.
Friendly people and excellent restaurant on site. Breakfast was delicious.. Beer garden was nice so you could have a beer right at the guesthouse. Servers at the restaurant and beer garden were so friendly! Parking was right in front of the guesthouse. I would return to stay there again and recommend it to anyone.

Everything! We typically book 8+ rated hotels with 4 stars or more. this hotel was a wonderful surprise in every way and under rated in our opinion. The hotel and room were very clean, double bed was large, comfortable and bedding was quality cotton. The room was spacious with large windows that opened in both the bedroom and washroom. The washroom was large, modern and bright with 3 outlets which is rare. we found slippers; 4 bottles of water and treats in our room. The breakfast was very good. Eggs and bacon cooked to order. Coffee was also Delicious! wifi worked great and parking was accessible. this was an excellent stay

This hotel is located in the town center, 5 min from the motorway exit, but absolutely no noise can be heard. There is a parking space close to the room. Inside, the bedroom is nice an clean, rather big TV screen and WiFi connection fast. The staff is very polite and friendly, the breakfast generous (hot eggs on request).
