The pillows for the bed were terrible. Worst ever had in a hotel. Access to the pool is not easy to find or locate.

A pity the public parking garage has only 2 chargers for electronic cars. I found the rate rather high - granted all of the above.

Room was excellant with very nice views. The automatic elevators are very nice and good idea. Very nice and very good hotel. Centrally located.

I booked the room through Booking.com, and it was clearly mentioned that a free shuttle service from the airport was provided. However, when I called to arrange the shuttle, the staff denied the existence of such a service. I was amazed that when I raised this issue at the front desk, the staff didn't even offer an apology.

We liked everything about this hotel but, in particular, we appreciated being able to check-in when we arrived in Frankfurt, early in the morning. This happened on our previous stay at this hotel as well. After an overnight flight, I really can't over-state how much we appreciated that. We would definitely stay at a Marriott Hotel again.

The sink in the bathroom is very high and very far from a standing person (towards the mirror) that its very difficult for a person below 175 cm to use it.

The front desk staff is rather cold, special requests are refused without a second thought, the duty manager is always busy, cleanliness is not the best.

The location is fantastic, right next to the MyZeil Mall, Pawan and Mohammed at the Concierge are amazing and very helpful. The room was huge including the bathroom.

As the 31st was a Sunday, all the shops were closed, apart from some coffee shops in the mall area next door. I really did not want to mention this, but it just bothers me a little when I do not have the choice to pay for services in cash. Even though cards are a great convenience, they can be lost or stolen or eaten up by the bank machines and having some cash is a necessity when travelling. The Euro is still legal tender and as a business Marriott management has an obligation to accept currency, up to a certain legal amount according to each county guideline. We can philosophise on the subject, but the fact remains.

I have stayed in many Marriott hotels, last years’ in NY was a disaster, but I believe in giving the benefit of the doubt, so I booked again in Frankfurt. So, this Marriott is a favourite, so far. Unfortunately, I spent more time than I had intended in my room, because I had the flu, so I could not go out. But my misfortune was short lived! I got my money’s worth in use, which I did not mind, because the room was clean, the bed was super comfortable, the pillows were fluffy, the tv had lots of choice, there was internet, room service was perfect ( apart from the pizza…I am very picky)…plus I got to go outside for just a little, believing that I felt better, and saw that the location was central and close to many shops and the various attractions. Breakfast at the Marriott is always amazing for choice and quality of ingredients. The staff were very helpful, from concierge, reception, housekeeping to restaurant staff, they were all polite and professional. My family and I decided, to join the New Years dinner, which had a perfect menu ( my daughter would not agree…she does not like fish, but what can we do!) and the music was a one man show with a festive repertoire, who had us dancing! We were a bit late in attending though, because in Greece we do not go out to dinner until after 8pm, so the chef & staff probably wanted to strangle us! Our apologies! And then let’s not forget the New Year’s Eve fireworks, since I could not go out, I enjoyed it from my window! Next time maybe I will get to enjoy the city too!
