To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Russia1. ! Terrible experience with the Wifi. It was unbelievably slow - the incoming speed was only 2 Mbps and the outgoing speed was 512 kbps. This is completely unacceptable in 2024. My mobile internet (O2) was blocked at the hotel's property, so I had no choice but to use their awful wifi. I saw warnings about this in other reviews, but I foolishly ignored them. It turned out to be true. 2. The reception staff (almost) didn't smile, which I found strange. 3. The air conditioning in the room didn't work, even though we had it on the lowest setting. It was nearly 30 degrees outside, and it was very hot. We had to open the windows, but then mosquitoes came in, and having windows open in such heat wasn't much help. 4. They didn't help carry our luggage to the room. 5. The pillows were very bad quality and definitely affected my overall comfort during the stay. By the end of the third day, my neck was so sore that I couldn't even turn it. The beds were good. 6. On one occasion, there was incessant knocking on my door - a total of 6 times. I thought the person would eventually give up and leave, but to my surprise, it turned out to be a staff member delivering... toilet paper. While I appreciate the gesture, I couldn't help but feel that 6 knocks were a bit excessive for such a simple delivery. Prior to that incident, I had also experienced 2 knocks on my door offering nuts. Overall, for the price, I expected a more luxurious service with friendlier staff. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it also wasn't super great, with many details overlooked.
1. The location is great, very close to all the attractions. 2. The room was clean, and housekeeping would change towels upon request. However, they didn't change the bed linen during my 3-day stay. Cups were washed daily. 3. The breakfast was okay, but not as fabulous as advertised. There was no oatmeal, but they had scrambled eggs, rice porridge, a selection of cheeses, and average pastries. Overall, the breakfast was decent, but the staff at breakfast wasn't very friendly. 4. The bathroom amenities provided by the brand RITUALS were a nice touch. I enjoyed having hand soap, body lotion, shampoo, shower gel, and hair conditioner available for my use. However, I was disappointed by the absence of slippers and a bathrobe.. 5. The curtains in this hotel were excellent at blocking out sunlight. They provided great coverage and ensured a dark environment for sleeping, which was much appreciated

Location is just great. Short walk to tv tower, or Brandenburg gate, museum island just next door. We were given extra bed without asking - we traveled with our 3 years old. That was appreciated.

GermanyExpensive breakfast. Our room was a standard room with no view at all, which was expected. Despite having "don't disturb sign" on the door, the personnel tried to desperately clean our room 😀... probably more training is needed.
The location was excellent, we didn't use the facility much. The breakfast was expensive, thus, we didn't take this option as all around the hotel great breakfast at much decent prices are available. The hotel went into the "skip the clean for the green" but the staff wasn't fully aware of that yet.

United KingdomThe hotel is centrally located and near the Friedrichstraße station. The room which faced towards the river was very comfortable and clean. We had a large bed (2 singles put together), bath with shower overhead, toilet and a bidet. There was a kettle and a coffee machine. Tea and coffee was replenished every day. The breakfast was excellent with both cooked and continual dishes. The staff were friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again.

United KingdomHowever, on our third night there was a party in the hotel going until 1am. When we complained about the noise, they moved us to a different room immediately. However, we were moved to a room with a connecting door to the room next door and the people in the next door room were so loud. It would have been nice for them to warn us about the party in advance.
We loved everything about this hotel for the first two nights we stayed there. The room was clean, spacious, had a very comfy bed and powerful shower, it was in a good location, and was nice and quiet. It has a restaurant downstairs and there’s lots of space in the hotel lobby to sit and relax.
