Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Neighborhood in the immediate vicinity of the hotel and towards the train station is dirty. Shower drained a little slowly.
Staff was helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice. Short walk to the train station.

No wash cloths in rim, just larger towels. Would have loved our Own coffee Maker in the room.
The staff are all amazing. About a mile and a half walk from Old Town so not Too bad of a location. We paid for a slightly larger room and it Appeared we were put in a smaller room. Shower water was nice and warm, bed very comfy. Complimentary breakfast great! Good value For Price we Paid. Thumbs up. Coffee And tea were downstairs, however and would have loved a coffee maker in the room Also. Downstairs coffee machine was very nice though. We’d stay there again.

Close to the train station! The location was super convenient. This room was quite comfortable and clean. The staff was kind and helpful. This was the room (superior room) was a decent size.

The room (loft) was so small! We had to shimmy around the bed, there was no place to keep luggage and the shower was also very tiny (they have other rooms that are better)

The parking was a bit difficult, but if you’re a good driver without a huge car, you’ll manage.
It was very close to the train main station (3min walk), but not too close that you could hear the noise. From there you could go anywhere very easily. Good reception.

Staff was very helpful, location is perfect, but all areas around train stations need some caution. Rooms are refurbished. The only issue was the lack of space inside the room, but there is a spacious balcony (on the 6th floor), that compensates for the missing space in the room when it is not raining.

The window is a bit thin so on both days I got woken by the noise of delivery trucks on the streets quite early in the morning.
The location is really convenient just a few blocks from the train station. Staff is nice and the room is spacious considering the location and similar other options in the area.

Parking is very old and suitable for small size cars, however the receptionist arranged us a parking spot outside of the hotel.

There were a couple of stairs going to the elevator, so you have to carry luggage, the elevator it self is okay for such hotel size.
Location is pretty close to the Munich central train station with lots of restaurants and groceries available, breakfast was excellent with good variety to choose from. We stayed at the premium room and it was not big but we knew that from booking, very tight space if you have 2 medium size suitcases.

Parking for somebody could be challenging. It,s compact and located in basement. To reach it, first you need to enter the freight elevator.
