We stayed in April when the temperature was mild- I would imagine that it is roasting in the summer.

This is a very good value hotel in a great location. It was clear that they had renovated the rooms by adding some newer features and a new bathroom. Having read some of the other reviews, I was pleasantly surprised.

Room was very small but fine for solo traveller. Door did not block noise of other guests in hallway.

we got the room that had additional stairs after the elevator, for the only guests with a tiny dog that was unfortunate; the newish bathroom facility in the room was leaking water onto the vinyl (water stains) and you could either flood the bathroom or close the shower door and leave the bathroom open as the one door functioned for both shower/bathroom door. Design could have been better. The hotel room key was a heavy brass key and the newer code lock did not work with our passcode. So keep the brass key close.

Veeeeeery small room, especially for this much money. Reception only open a limited amount of time, so not possible for us to leave bags there but had to use the lockers at the train station.

We were 3 adults and booked an apartment with one bedroom and a sofabed in the living room . When we arrived it turned out that the apartment was accessed by a very steep open - tread staircase, which had not been indicated on Booking or the hotel website. All the apartments are like this, apart from one on the top floor, which the staff arranged for us to have although it wasn't quite finished. So all ended well, and we were very comfortable, but this is something to be aware of

The room is simple, there's a TV but no fridge nor kettle/tea/coffee. There's water.

The hotel is very close to the train station, not to the old town, which is however 15 minutes walk away.

A water cooker in the room would be nice. The window of our room was in direction of a small side-alley, however there was strong traffic noise from the main street very early in the morning.

Very friendly and helpful staff, they managed to arrange a room for us well ahead of the promised check-in time. Good location: in easy walking distance both of the train station and the historic city.

It has a slightly worn feel, but nothing major. Some design choices are a bit unclear.

This place is nice, if a bit scruffy around certain edges. Good for exploring the town!

horrible soundproofing. I mean it is really bad. I could hear people talking and watching TV in the neighboring room, not to mention slamming doors... · at least in the room I stayed in, there is a big and transparent window between the room and the bathroom/shower. Sorry, but I just didn't quite grasp the wisdom behind it

excellent location - just a couple of minutes by foot from the train station and in a walking distance from the historic center · the hotel is very easy to find · I asked for a quiet room and indeed didn't hear much noise from outside · spacious and bright rooms · last but not least - nice and really helpful staff

The view was terrible, facing the roof with technical equipment. Hotel serves breakfast which is quite expensive and has no sence, since there is a breakfast bakery shop 20 meters from the hotel. The parking is terrible, it's not underground garage or next to the hotel, it's rented from other businesses on the neighbouring street.

The hotel standard is ok, but rooms are very very small. You can tell it used to be a good hotel. The location is good.

Reception desk is closed on weekends so I have your mobile ready to call. I probably could have connected my iPhone to the hotel WiFi at the door but I did not know this. Kind people on the street called, I was given the code to open the door and I was told that the key was in my door on the first floor At that point all went well. I love to walk so the long walk to Old Town was long but I actually like this. Would I stay here again - absolutely. I am in Europe for a month and I cannot afford the high end hotels.

I travel alone and by train or bus. I always choose a hotel nearest the train station. They are not always high end but very comfortable and I am not disappointed. The breakfast room was excellent but it was extra. Lots of nice people stayed there. The TV has English news.
