Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceThe rest. The location is actually in the middle of a street full with people taking crack. The rooms are smoking rooms, even the ones non-smoking smells of cigarettes. The noise insulation is very poor and some of my neighbours decided to throw a small party
Hard to find one thing I liked. Maybe the fact that it’s central

GermanyThe environment where the hotel was located. Did not make me feel safe. No breakfast even though it said otherwise on bookings.com. I still had to pay some extra charges before accessing my room. The room service took 1 week before finally cleaning my room.
The price point was good.

GermanyThe bathroom was very dirty. There were track marks in the toilet and hair all over the sink. There was a condom wrapper in the corner. I rang (the right one) the doorbell, coming back while there was a massive cops vs. druggies action going on outside. Again, I don't mind those, it's the RLD and it's generally very safe, but when there's fists and things flying, I don't want to be hit. No one opened. I waited and rang for 5+ Minutes, an eternity while there's a shoving/pushing match going on, and finally was let in by someone coming out. The front desk was not manned, which meant I had to wait for the person to come back to get my room keys. All in all, if the front door situation can be fixed and bathroom cleanliness is taken seriously, this is a good hotel.
This hotel is right next to the train station, a mere minute's walk from it. I booked in the Red Light District, knowing there's a needle exchange around the corner, so I didn't mind that. The room was clean, though the bathroom unfortunately was not. The window was out back, meaning it was much quieter than a street side window.

Czech RepublicOld fashioned rooms, not working wifi, breakfast you have to find in any restaurant on the street
I understand, that probably during fairs, prices are growing, but I was not visiting any fair, therefore as "normal business traveller" price of the accommodation did not correspond to the quality. For 50% price I paid I will rate this hotel between 8-9.

IrelandThe hotel was noisy. I am familiar with the area and street that the hotel is located on, so I knew it could be possibly noisy, but because the hotel is in its own courtyard, off the main street, I thought it would have been quieter. There was a lot of shouting and yelling coming from the streets (especially in the early hours of the morning) and in the middle of the night someone (probably drunk) banged on my door (probably because I had put a "Do not disturb" sign on it)! The hotel is quite run down. The carpet could do with changing and the entire interior (hotel rooms and corridors) could do with a good lick of paint. The TV was not good. No English stations, yet it was cable/satellite. Every second channel was not working. It would be better to delete all the channels which cannot be viewed and just save the ones that are viewable, saved in order (1-20 etc.) You had to scroll through VERY slowly through each station to see if a picture would appear. Most hotels offering cable/satellite have CNN and BBC News and some others.
The LOCATION is excellent. 5 minutes walk from the Central Train Station and 15-20 minutes casual walk to the main (nice) shopping area. SHOPS+FOOD: There are lots of cafes, bars and restaurants and cheap shops in the vicinity of the hotel. Lots of Euro Shops and Gadget stores and barbers and phone repair stores. What you usually find around train stations in Europe. PRICE: The price was very good. I booked a couple of months in advance and this hotel was one of the cheaper ones on offer. Price & Location are the only reasons I chose this hotel. STAFF VERY GOOD: The guys in the reception were friendly and polite and made you feel secure in what is a very run down neighbourhood.

DenmarkDue to corona breakfast restaurant was closed, so no breakfast though it was stated at Booking.coms home page when booked!! Would not have booked the room had I known that. Arrived at hotel around 21.00 hrs. Rang the bell next to the gate in the street, still after 2-3 rings nobody opened. Finally after having waited for 10 minutes, surrounded by drunks, prostitutes, and drug addicts and still without any reaction from the the guy at the reception another guest in the hotel went out and I could get inside. Mentioned the troubles to the guy at the reception but he couldn't speak nor understand a word of english, II was schocked! My TV didn't work, called the reception, a guy came up who just starred at the TV and told me he had no idea what was wrong. When checking out I should pay for my stay. Something was wrong with the credit card machine so I could not use my credit card and was asked to find a cash machine outside the hotel!. Told them booking.com had my credit card details so they could get payment through them. I never stay at this hotel again. Period
It's cheap.
