Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SlovakiaIt could use a little detail work. Everything looked clean until you looked a little closer. It wasn’t really dirty more like worn with use and age. The pressure in the toilet wasn’t great and when we first arrived the man at the desk wasn’t the nicest. Letter there was an older gentleman that was much more pleasant. I would also think that a hotel for international guests would have things written in both English and German but that wasn’t the case.
Good location and comfortable sleeping arrangements. The bed was soft and the room wasn’t hot. Good for our needs of leaving our luggage while we explored the city then a shower and sleep.

Not a bad place if you stay just one night and not spending to much time at the hotel. Beds are comfortable. Staff really nice. I saw breakfast buffet but we didn’t try it. Very good Location really near laim station So, if you need a place just to sleep, I recommended it. Price-service is logical

HondurasCan't really say much because the stay was only for one night. For this, it served its purpose.
My family only stayed for one night, so they really needed a place to sleep. The place is well located, close to the Laim Station. The room was small but fulfilled the need and was clean. For such a stay, the place was great.

SingaporeRoom door lock: still physical key based and no option to say "do not clean/do not disturb". Balcony: Good space but only broken/rotten furniture. Only a partition boarding with gaps separating next Room. Didn't feel very safe to leave balcony door open at night. Deco: outdated/ not the same as pictures.
Location is great, 5 to 7mins walk to Laim station. Reasonably priced. Friendly receptionist. Ok for 1 or 2day stay to rest at night.

Very close to the S Bann to get us into the centre of Munich in minutes. It is a basic hotel but with clean, comfortable beds, clean towels and a brilliant shower what more could you want. On top of this everything we needed was around the hotel such as eating and supermarkets. I stay here every time I’m in Munich and I’ve been here quite a few times.

TurkeyCleaning service must be improved. There is dirt and dust in the rooms, especially under the bed. After a checkout, cleaning staff must also clean under the bed! I think no vacuum cleaner is used by cleaning staff but it has to be used. Noise is another problem because especially through room doors, people's noise is heard.
I stayed in this hotel for almost 2 months, in 4 different rooms (due to multiple chek outs and check ins). The location of the hotel is perfect - it is very close to S-Bahn, tram and bus station. You can be in Hauptbahnhof or Pasing in minutes. There is a bar next to the hotel, a steak house on the other side of the street, a cafe (Cafe Müller) on the other corner of the boulevard and a McDonalds as well as supermarkets like Rewe, Rossmann and Edeka nearby. Nymphenburg Castle is within walking distance. Staff is friendly. Wi-Fi was very good. Daily waste collection.

GreeceI would loved it if the hotel had a small fridge in the room and also a hair dryer! Also the rooms are not well sound proofed, but if you are staying for a few days its ok!
The location of the hotel was fantastic, its exactly next to the train station if you dont have a car! The area has a lot of super markets but dont forget on Sunday EVERYTHING is closed.

SwitzerlandThe room smelled a little like cigarettes but once ventilated its ok. When choosing a Hotel in Munich every 10 E Budget/night might be worth the investment...
The walls are thick enough to not be as disturbed by the neighbors. We arrived 20 min late to check in hours but could still check in. The check out went smoothly. Everything ok. The beds where comfy I had a good sleep.

FinlandI arrived late and the reception was already closed. I've tried to ring the bell near the door but nobody answered and I'm not sure if it worked. So, I had to spent some time to call another hotel by phone and understand how can I check-in
It is pretty cheap compared to other hotels nearby. You can have a breakfast for just 7 euros. It really cost 7 euros but at least you will not be hungry in the morning
