Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The sink was a little bit dirty, and the bed consisted of two seperate mattresses.
The location was amazing and we were welcomed very warmly by the man at the reception. For the price it was definitely worth it.

The staff was wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel was perfectly located right in the shopping district downtown right next to the big elegant hotels. We could walk to everything. Restaurants were everywhere around us, etc. the only thing was the room was a bit on the small Side but we did have a king bed and a portable a/c which definatley came in handy. It was almost 90 outside.

The room, especially the floor when we checked-in, was very dirty, covered in dust and sand. I had to mopped the floor with one of the towels. Hanging the "Please clean the room" tag didn't help. At the end we had to ask for cleaning for the floor to be cleaned.
The location is great, it is in the city center and close to everything. The air-conditioner provided was highly welcomed as the days we were there it was 32°c for 3 days straight. Breakfast is OK and reasonably priced.

the bed was huge but it had two separate single foams which made it uncomfortable when you happen to lie in the middle part

Breakfast was ok but could have more options, bathroom was very small, corridor between elevator and room with moquette had a strange smell (desinfectant?)
Location was good, entrance is located in a side alley but essy ti find on google. Bed was confortable, had elevator, possible to do late checkin with code

It was a little loud as we faced a street and the room was very small, but for the price and the very short time we were there it was fine.
Loved the staff. Tom was wonderful and young lady in the breakfast room was very helpful and friendly.

Not a fan of the German style beds (a "queen" size is 2 twin mattresses pushed together). Not great for couples because one person ends up sleeping on the crack between the two mattresses. Very uncomfortable.
Super convenient self check-in with instructions provided in direct message after booking. Location one block off the main strip. The room had good air conditioning. And the honor bar was convenient for getting a bottle of water late at night when everything else was closed.

The aircon was a portable unit and very noisy. It was too hot not to have it on, but too noisy to have it on ! Also odd that there is self check in and no staff after 2pm.

the property advertises AC but they were not installed yet since it was too early in the year. the hotel accommodated me as best as they could by relocating me to the second floor. the water kettle was quite old and dirty.
I’ve stayed multiple times at this hotel and have always had a good experience.

Shower was confusing with many broken controls, bed was a little uncomfortable for me but I am very fussy!!!! Great to have some tea and coffee in the room. They provided earplugs by the bed. That was because the air conditioning was very loud. Fortunately I didn't need them. Receptions hours are limited during cOVID. I didn't know how to get in but there were some other guests who were able to help me.
Son of the owners was incredible. Very engaging and helpful. Location was really good for the town. a fair distance from the main train station if you need to use that.
