Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

little things in maintainance like a hook on the bathroom door that was not attatched very well.
The staff was very friendly. The Breakfast was very extensive and good. The hotel was very close to the highway.

They prepared only one bed linen in the room for 2 our chldren (imediately resolved after claiming at the reception). The carpet in our room was damaged in one place.
Perfect accomodation for ovenight stay. It is close to highways, 24/7 reception, rich breakfast served early (7:00), silence.

Nothing worth mentioning.
We spent the night here on our way from Belgium to Austria. Very pleasant as a stopover. Checked in around midnight, no problem. Nice, clean room. Good breakfast and quickly back on the highway. We would love to come back.

very large room, with facilities for making tea excellent breakfast we had a reservation for a family room with 3 persons, but the sofa bed had no sheaths/ blanket/pillows, the receptionist gave an extra room for free

The location couldn’t be better when you’re on the autobahn and need a place to spend the night, and travel on the next day. Rooms were very clean and super spacious. Breakfast was terrific.

Nothing comes to mind, only requested 3 rooms at same floor/location but where seperated. As it was only for 1 short night no issues at the moment.
Very nice location for travelling to South of Germany, direct located near freeway. 24h reception helps on quick check in and breakfast with decent selection of food and drinks.

I travelled to the property on the day of the most recent rail strike. When I called to speak with the property about my arrival delay, the person on the line noted that I had already paid upfront for three nights and that NO changes were allowed to the reservation. I barely got a question out before this individual rejected any type of change or modification to the reservation, The world is an imperfect place and not always do plans work as planned. A policy is only in place for guidance, it is not a protection barrier for incompetent staff to hide behind. Next time, please listen and at least try to work with your guests. Btw in a hotel, customers are called guests, How do you treat guests? Yes, the customer is not always right but poor customer service will always be wrong.
Desk staff were helpful fixing the climate control that did not work for the first two bights, I froze those first two nights.

Exceptional service, our room was changed immediately after we claimed few stains on the duvet. Not really a big thing since the cleanliness of this hotel is really on a high level but the kindness of the service and their prompt reaction was actually the fact that makes a difference. Tasty breakfast, quiet location. Absolutely recommended! It`s been our 4th stay and we will be returning again! thank you!

The lack of fresh air. windows are locked and alarmed and the room was stuffy by morning. The dust and dead moth on the shelving were troubling.
