Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustriaThe room smelled and the bathroom would need some updating. The curtains do not block the sun.
The room was rather big. The amenities are great.

SwedenGood breakfast, free tea/coffee anytime, free parking. Lots of people with dogs stayed at the hotel, but nice that at least during breakfast the main breakfast area was dog-free.

FranceMy single room was small and cramped. The window opened onto a wall a the back of a terrace, so no view at all and I couldn't keep it open as anyone on the terrace could have jumped in. While the room looked nice, the bed was very uncomfortable. There weren't many power plugs, and they were in strange locations. Finally I have to mention the carpet. See, the large dining hall (under the glass roof) has a carpeted floor. Who ever thought that a carpet in a place where people eat was a good idea to start with?! But then in a corner of that room is a drink dispenser. You know, those horrible things with touchscreens that give you juice and coffee? Well, the glasses are quite small and the dumb touchscreens are slow to react and so it's very easy to overfill. Long story short, so many people have spilled drinks that the carpet around the drink dispenser is either crunchy (where it's dry) or mushy (where it's wet), and you can feel your shoes sticking as you walk! Just get rid of the darn dispenser, and the darn carpet, that's just gross.
Nice old building (a former hospital). Good location, close to the train station and not too far away from the waterfront. Large parking lot. Good breakfast with plenty of choice.

RomaniaOn old style hotel with carpet which are showing their age (including in the breakfast area). We‘ve got our room in a separate building (next to the main building) and reaching the first floor was possible only by quite steep stairs (a bit difficult with large luggage). Also, no bath tub, and the tile was a bit slippery.
Easy to reach. Big rooms. Diverse and very good breakfast. Relaxed atmosphere (you can play games, lay with an cocktail, or an on-the-house ice cream or coffee. Nice stuff. Location suitable for diverse activities in the proximity - good for spending couple of days.

NetherlandsThe room smelled of dog. I know we have a dog ourselves, so I understand that we got this room. I think the smell of the dogs is sucked a bit into the carpet. But after a few minutes in the room you do not smell it anymore. A room without a carpet would be better for people with dogs. But I won't complain because we were very happy that we could stay here with our dog and that the staff was so friendly and easy with us and the dog.
Very friendly staff. The location is very good, near the Little Belt Trail and near the centre of Middelfart. Breakfast is excellent with a lot of choice. We appreciated the free coffee, tea and ice cream. Very dog friendly. We did not try the dinner, but it looked tasty.

NorwayEverything is a bit dated. Room was very hot so we had to sleep with double windows (one broken!) wide open and put up with noise from the nearby railway line. Shower was weak and the 100% tiled wet room with no bath mat was like an ice rink quickly.
The bed was comfortable, the room was big and it is convenient for Middelfart station. Breakfast was ok, served in a big, airy space. Staff were pleasant.

FinlandMilling Hotel Park is a great place to stay if you’re planning to spend time in the city center. The rooms are clean and cozy, with comfortable beds and modern amenities. The presence of convenient workspaces and free Wi-Fi is especially appreciated. Another pleasant bonus is the high-quality soundproofing, which allows for a peaceful rest even in the heart of the city. The hotel breakfast is also worth mentioning – it's varied and fresh, with a wide selection of dishes to suit all tastes. Overall, the hotel is perfectly suited for both business trips and tourist visits. We were very satisfied with the service and the comfort.

DenmarkI would like some shelfes in the bathroom for toiletries and I would like the option of making tea in my room. I would also prefer more pillows, as I am booking a single room, and I only get 1 pillow
The dinner buffet is very nice with a lot of options and the staff is really very nice and helpfull. In the bar you get virgin drinks that are really good. Also the room-decor is super cool and old-fashioned.
