Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

IcelandFor the first time I had a room on the top floor, and I would not recomend it. The room is small and has very low ceilings. The bed is under a sloping ceiling, so I felt a bit trapt in bed :) - Last time I had a room on 2nd floor, and it was perfect.
The location is perfect. Rooms are nice. Modern hotel.

United StatesStrange elevator system that stops on half-floors, so no matter what, you have to cart luggage up and down half a flight on both ends. Our room was on the 4th floor and was so hot, even when the window was open and it was cool outside. No AC, but at least there was a fan. Small room, but clean and functional. Beds not fancy but pretty comfortable. I know Copenhagen is expensive, but this still felt overpriced for what it was.
Great location for Meatpacking district dinner/drinks at night and if you want to be by train station for airport and day trips (which we did, to castles, towns, on several day -- stop by Rug bakery next to train station. Great oatmeal --really!!). But a bit of a trek/walk (half hour) to the heart of Copenhagen. Clean, friendly. Nice courtyard to sit in. Great bike rental system. Excellent free luggage storage. Overall very good. Our particular room we could see a perfect reflection of the weekly Tivoli fireworks in the buildings across. Fun!

IcelandGood location, simple, loved the staff. The lady that was usually at the front desk was very friendly and nice. Even my kids that don’t speak English or danish talked about how nice she was. We needed extra bed and it was no problem. Perfect stay and just what we needed for our trip, that was about expiring Copenhagen and needed a place to sleep

United StatesThe room was very small and the elevators are situated such that you have to walk up stairs regardless of taking the elevator.
Great location and super friendly staff. Walkable to everything but very convenient to the train station, Meatpacking District, and Tivoli.

AustraliaThe night screamers. Drunks in the streets who yell for hours - usually between 2-4 am. It happened many nights in our nine nights stay. It’s enough to wake you and keep you awakeThe windows are soundproof however if you close them, it can be very hot. A difficult choice.
Everything is great about this place except for the location as people scream outside in early hours of the morning . I stayed here for nine days and there was only one day when it was quiet. I called them the ‘night screamers’ and they are like a plague. I stayed again here for another night on my way back home and it happened again.

United Statesroom was really tight for 2 people. No place to unpack. TV had no functioning english language stations... CNN and BBC were listed but don't actually work. Elevator stops are half-way between floors so no way to avoid having to lug your bags up some stairs.
great breakfast ...expensive but really good quality.

CanadaThe rooms are very small, something to get used to for a North American traveler.
Location: a short walk from Kobenhavn H. 1 min from the nearest Metro station. 5 min or so from Tivoli. The staff was friendly and helpful. There is a charming courtyard. The bathrooms are not too small. Very nice view of Copenhagen streets (from the 3rd floor).

United KingdomThe rooms are really small. A double bed has one side pushed against a wall. This makes it awkward to get into/out of esp in the middle of the night for toilet visits! There is limited storage space for your cases in the room and space into which you unpack your clothes. Room was hot & stuffy. Not their fault that there’s climate change which the building was not built for (probably hard to retrofit with AC). They did provide a desk fan and you could open the windows (but it was largely a still week with little breeze). Slightly odd instructions about room servicing. Supposed to be on demand to change towels & make up the room, but in 5 days it happened twice for us without asking, although they did not automatically replenish tea & coffee at the same time, but you could just request it down in reception. The building is not accessible for those with difficulties with stairs - there is an elevator, but to stops oddly BETWEEN the floors the rooms are on, so you always have to walk up/ down 6-7 steps. Quite expensive for what you get really, but maybe that’s just how it is in Copenhagen as a capital City.
The location is great, very near the rail, metro and bus stops, near Tivoli and a few of the main museums, yet it is really quiet. Nice courtyard garden to sit out in. All staff were professional polite and smiley. Welcoming. Nice to have a safe & a slimline fridge (for bottles only really) in the room.

Switzerland- Room was very small. There were 2 of us, but only 1 chair, and that blocked the way to the door. - Housekeeping was uneven. The cleaner didn't remove hair from the shower or sink or give us clean cups.
Location was right next to the central train station, so it was very convenient.

LithuaniaThe family room is rather small for four people, there is hardly space for moving around when the four beds and the two chairs are in there. The room has no wardrobe, just some open shelves (+some hangers), so that the luggage and the people are all cramped in the same space. To be fair, the amount of sq. m was probably the same as stated on Booking.com, it’s just that the room felt smaller than the impression given by its photo. Also, it was relatively hot in the room. Opening the window only partly helped, plus there was a lot of noise coming from outside when the window was open.
The location of the hotel is excellent - it is located just a few minutes away from the main railway station and just a 10-15 minute walk from the city centre. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful. There is a kettle and a fridge in the room, and the hotel has a lovely courtyard with seating, so that one can have lunch or just relax outside.
