Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

ItalyThere isn’t a daily cleaning service, but it has to be requested at the reception, and even when this is done, the cleaning isn’t 100% efficient (we didn’t have our bathroom fully cleaned and the hand soap refilled even with a note left next to it)
The hotel is pretty big and with a lot of rooms, but we had a pretty quiet stay! The breakfast area is big as well, with a vast offer of food, but it can get very crowded. Good location as there is a S-train station close by. The service staff was always attentive and diligent.

Polandnice location close to trains so easy to get everywhere in the city; very close to Tivoli Gardens; good breakfast; nice parking slot to be booked separately with Q-Park; clean rooms; comforable beds; but rooms are extremely small - no space to sit down a relax a bit; good that we spent most of the time in the city

CanadaFacilities are basic. It’s a bit pricey for the facility provided for North American tourists. Maybe it’s due to the high taxi rate in Northern Europe.
Staffs are very friendly, accommodating, helpful. Rooms are clean. Adequate choices for breakfast. Convenient location. Close to downtown.

RomaniaThere is no mini bar in the room, not even water, no vanity products, no slippers. You have to book the cleaning of the room a day in advance. The cable network wasn't working, they had an issue for a few days.
The rooms are nice and clean, not very spacious, but enough if you don't want to spend a lot of time in the hotel. I liked the fact that the check in and check out processes are automated and very easy. The breakfast was good, but you can find better options at a lower price at the restaurants nearby.

United StatesOur room was on the opposite side of the hotel from the stairs/elevator which was a little annoying to walk so far to our room.
A nice hotel with a really good breakfast. The hotel is in a good location, next to lots of nice restaurants and bars. It is also not too far away from the metro/train.

GermanyThe room was clean and quiet, but the experience fell short in key areas. The shower had low water pressure, and without a floor mat, the bathroom flooded each time. Asking for extra pillows and towels turned into a patronising lecture about saving the planet. The young supervisor's tone felt more preachy than helpful. For the price, basic comforts should not require negotiation. Not acceptable.
The location in the heart of the Meatpacking District is fantastic and easily the highlight of the stay. With many excellent restaurants and bars just a two to three minute walk away, it truly made the choice worthwhile. The standard room offered basic, almost spartan comfort. It was clean and quiet, which is to be expected in Scandinavia. There was no noise at night, and most things were in order. Breakfast was good, though adding some fish like salmon or shrimp to the buffet would make sense, especially in Copenhagen.

ArgentinaWhile those who prefer not to walk long distances or rely on public transport daily might consider staying in Indre By, but using a bicycle is a highly enjoyable and practical way to explore the city. The adjacent Meatpacking District offers a diverse range of dining and nightlife options, making the hotel's location even more appealing.
Scandic Kødbyen proved to be an excellent accommodation choice during our stay in Copenhagen. Conveniently located just one train stop from the Central Station and approximately a 20–25 minute walk from the main tourist attractions, the hotel offers everything one might need for a comfortable stay. Amenities include a bar, restaurant, bicycle rentals, gym, board games, and a selection of items available for purchase such as beer, snacks, and coffee. Room cleaning must be requested through a website, and service was provided promptly whenever we required it. The room itself was well-suited for two people and ideal for a three-night stay.
