Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

AustraliaToo far from alternative dining options, not in an attractive area.
The view of the pyramids was awesome - from the rooftop balcony for breakfast and dinner. Our room was clean and comfortable.

All of the staff were amazing. So helpful and kind. The location was so great for seeing the pyramids and the museum while being away from the busy crowds. Breakfast was lovely and we went back to the restaurant for a fantastic dinner.

Staff especially Rawda in reception is very kind and excellent customer service. So is Omar and Zico.

United StatesUnfortunately, the room needed some plumbing work while we were there. The manager was apologetic, and offered us a different room.
Staff was attentive, friendly, and clearly were making and effort to be good hosts. Great view of the pyramids during breakfast. The breakfast itself was good, there were several options to choose from: continental breakfast, and two different Egyptian breakfast combinations. There was a substantial amount of food for each breakfast option.

United KingdomThe only reason we booked here was the appeal of the outdoor pool but it turns out it is only for show and cannot be used!!!! there is a small indoor heated pool but with a few people in it is not very pleasant,
how close we were to the Pyramids and being able to see them from the restaurant terrace whilst having breakfast.

United KingdomWe had dinner one night, had read great things, however, food was poor, meat cold, chicken not cooked and the manager really didn’t care, he accepted the food was cold and took it away for 3 minutes and it came back as charcoal ! He then shrugged his shoulders and walked away.
Location is amazing, view of the pyramids is stunning, breakfast location amazing. Pool was nice and room was nice, great value.

United KingdomLanguage can be a barrier as we realised when the gent at reception struggled to answer basic queries. Room was crammed with no view so don't think it was value for money. Main advantage of the hotel is the location closer to pyramids and view from terrace which is only accessed through another building outside of the hotel.
Great location and view from the terrace of the Pyramids. Friendly staff, good breakfast.

United KingdomNice hotel in a convenient location for the pyramids and GEM. Has a rooftop restaurant which was also very nice. My room was right next to reception so was a little noisy. Room’s are also on the small side — nice for a short stay off 1-3 nights but would choose somewhere else if staying longer

The hotel is located very close to the entrance of the pyramids of Giza and also a 5 min ride with car to the Great Egyptian Museum. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was very kind and helpful. Also, they prepared our breakfast in box in order to take it with us to the trip because we had an early check out.

FranceThe water in the shower fluctuated spontaneously between boiling hot and cold. The traffic and driving behaviour in Cairo is terrifying everywhere - but because of the roadworks near the hotel then taxi drivers have to do nerve-wracking manoevres to access the hotel
Stunning view from the rooftop restaurant. Walkable to the Pyramids. Would be walkable to the Grand Egyptian Museum if only you could cross the main road (we did it but were helped across the streams of traffic and over the central barrier). Nice indoor swimming pool - the outdoor one in the courtyard I was told is only for decoration. As we were there during Ramadan we could have a big iftar meal at 6pm (one day we did that and shared 1 meal portion between 3 of us as a friend came to see us), otherwise we had to wait till 8pm for the usual menu.
