Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
Guidelines and Standards for Reviews
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.

the toilets could have been maintained better. for me it was ok, but sometimes a toilet didn't work, or not very clean. otherwise it was super nice.
The hosts have great welcoming energy. great quiet spot, super nice staff and nice guests too. I took a simple hut, more than i needed. a bed and a fan. most of the time i was walking around, snorkeling, swimming, and relaxing in the shared area. just a nice place to relax and connect with the sea. again. the hosts are really caring. thank you

Nothing. The place is super cozy and friendly. Nothing to complain about.
EVERYTHING! I love the people, the freedom, and the whole vibe. Hosts are super friendly and we so caring for the guests' comfort. Food was awesome (and bonus, customizable). There's a lot to do, and you can just chill doing nothing if you prefer.

Michael and Bassant are absolutely delightful. I really enjoy being around them, they are truly inspiring and I feel blessed to have met them. You won’t feel bored or alone with them, there is always something to do. Food is vegan friendly, healthy and tasty. The rooms are clean, comfortable and with a beautiful view.

There is noting that I didn’t like, but this is for husha lovers!
This stay was unforgettable! The hosts Michael and Bossboss are creating such a special atmosphere in the camp, which encourages all the guests to be friendly. in addition, the food is amazing and the location is perfect. The facilities are simple and charming, you need nothing more in paradise. The pure Sinai experience!

The Place is clean and the staff is kind and respectful. Food is delicious all day round, especially the refreshing mango shake If you catch your own fish they will even prepare them for dinner ! If you come you will definitely meet some people who you will want to keep in touch with for the rest of your life. Quality place filled with quality people , with very good prices

it's not that their place is perfect but it's the people- bosbos&michael&all their staff, that host you with love and care that makes the whole stay just perfect
micheal and bosbos and all their team made our stay just perfect- they are so attentive and loving, they really care and want everyone feel safe, welcome and at home. every time we come to sinai we come to their place, wherever it is, cause they're like family to us.

The stay with Mike ans Busbus was simply a WOW experience. They take so much care for their guests, it was like coming to visit a family + the best food I ever had in Sinai. I would absolutely come back whenever I can

It's Sinai, so you need to be ready for the issues related to traveling in this area.
This place is owned by a great couple. They are nice and warm and help with anything. The staff is very good and the location is beautiful. It's a great place for families and for couples, as well as people who just want to come on their own and be left alone.

Third time I return to Michael's house. I follow him and Busbus in every camp they had in Sinai. Always clean, always tasty and most importantly, there are always good people. And if not, there is Michael and Busbus. Fun place. Happy place. Very special

Feels like going to vacation at your friend's house! Excellent food, good AC in rooms, very comfortable and warm hospitality. Michal and Bassant took care of everything for us with a smile. Left more relaxed then I have been for a long time. One of the best camp's I've been in.

If you come in Sinai it’s the best place to stay. Michael and Bassanth are amazing, they both make you feel at home 🖤 The huts are really comfortable u’re just on the beach. Great experience, lovely people, i will be back soon!
