Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineAlcohol is awful.
The territory of the hotel is very green and well groomed. The beach is big and has enough sunbeds, the access to the sea is only from the pier. The food is of a good quality and it is really great that the lunch takes place in the beach restaurant. Overall, the impression about the hotel is very nice, but the biggest disadvantage is the alcohol - it is simply disgusting and smells like hell. I would recommend the management of the hotel to change the supplier, there are better suppliers in Hurghada than Yanina.

EgyptThe aging air conditioning unit in our bungalow emitted disruptive noises, and one struggled to cool the room effectively. The food tasted great but there weren't much variety and the snacks, specially the pizza, were not good. The shallow waters limited snorkeling above the near by corals. Additionally, the pool area occasionally becomes overcrowded.
The bungalow we stayed in was clean, offering ample space for relaxation and privacy. The staff exhibited professionalism at every turn, ensuring our needs were promptly met. The sandy beach, very close from the bungalows but a 10 min walk from the main hotel, provided an great setting for sun-soaked days, with the added thrill of spotting colorful fish from the pier and when snorkeling. Our little one appreciated the family-friendly amenities, including a heated pool and a dedicated kids' pool complete with slides, all with lifeguards on-site. The entire resort is accessible and designed to accommodate wheelchairs and strollers seamlessly and a golf cart is available for free if unable to walk. The open buffet, particularly the BBQ chicken, was awesome. While the kids' club lacked diverse activities, Jasmine from the animation team proved to be a ray of sunshine for our little one. Her boundless energy and creativity infused joy into every interaction, from the mini disco to water aerobics and foam parties.

Egypt1- Rooms furniture needs renovation. 2- Food taste needs improvement. 3- Most of the staff need to be more friendly with the guests. The reception staff is an exception to this, they are wonderful.
1- Swimming Pool is clean and warmed. 2- The animation team is awesome and there are shows running every day.. day and night. 3- The landscape of the resort is very beautiful especially the lake area. 4- The front desk/reception staff are very friendly and always try their best to make you enjoy your stay especially Mr. Ahmed Gamal El Din Reception Manager. 5- Food and drink are available most of the time from morning until evening. During non-restaurant working hours, snacks and drinks are available in bars, and there is not a large time gap between the working hours of restaurants and bars.

United KingdomWe were a family with two teenagers and loved our stay! The hotel complex is beautifully landscaped and spacious. Our 2 bedroomed bungalow was ideal for our needs. The staff are the special part of the hotel though and without exception were warm and welcoming. Reception staff were super helpful when needed, our room was kept immaculate by Raheem and the bar and restaurant staff were incredibly professional and attentive. We spent our days by the pool and beach and got involved with some of the exercise and evening entertainment organised by the animation team which was fun. We were very well fed and the beer was good. We definitely recommend the hotel.

Very clean, tasty food, relaxing atmosphere. There is a very nice beach, kids playpark, pool, lake and lots of nature. Daily activities. New pool towels, new loungers and warm big pool. You have breakfast and dinner in a hotel's restaurant and lunch in beach restaurant. Small bus is running between hotel and beach every 10min

United KingdomWe liked everything, but they might want to reconsider the choices for the afternoon snacks. We could get pizza, burgers, chips, ice cream, pastries, but it would have been nice to have the choice of some fruit or vegetables
The location was wonderful, our bungalow had two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a lounge, which was perfect for a family of four. The lunches / dinners were simple but really tasty, loads of grilled meat plenty of vegetables and salads. The breakfast buffet was excellent especially the egg/ omolette bar. The staff was excellent, especially the guys at the buffet and the cleaners. The outdoor pool was really great, clean and warm.

United KingdomThe restaurant is a bit further from hurghada downtown and marina but there are plenty of taxis around. You can also use Uber. Do not use the hotel taxis are they are very expensive. I used to go to downtown for approx Le80 Egyptian pound while hotel Charging 25 euro. My suggestion is always use Uber as a pricing guide for negotiation with taxi drivers.
The resort was beautiful, we stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath bungalow with it's own dining and living room. It was very comfortable for our family of 4. We also liked all the staff, from reception, dining, cleaning, beach, pool as they were always friendly and smiling. The dining in the main buffet restaurant was exceptionally delicious and variety was aplenty. You will never eat the same food twice in your holiday unless you want to. We did try the oriental Ala Carte which was not as delicious as buffet.

Turkey-When you relax in the beach, pool or garden sellers always try to sell you something like massage or tour. The tour seller even got angry when we didnt book with him. -We wouldnt suggest you to book anything from Sam Taxi which is in the lobby. They sold us a Luxor tour. We ask them for English tour guide but they put us in a German speaking group. We received a limited English translation. They promise us a comfy car but what we received was an old and uncomfy car. I think the hotel should be aware of what all the sellers do in their hotel.
-The hotel was very clean. Rooms, pool, restaurants and the garden were clean all the time. -They have a big garden and a long beach. You can relax by spending time in the beach or in the garden. You can even see some fishes in the beach by snorkeling if you are lucky. -We like the food. It wasn't the best of the best but they offer many options and you can find something to eat. If you are veggy you may need to eat similar food everyday because most of the options are not veggy. (I didnt inform them I was veggy. If you inform them they may offer you veggy food.) -Staff was very friendly. They did their best to welcome us and to make us feel comfy. -Our room was big enough for two people. We had a wonderful balcony with a great view. It was clean all the time. -The hotel is not in the city center but you can go to the city center in 25-30 mins by bus by paying 20 Egyptian pound for one person. (Do not go with taxi. It is extremely much more expensive.)

HungaryThe animation team could have done better. There were 5-6 young ladies and gentlemen, from all over the world, but the evening entertainment events were sometimes very awkward, like 'miss hotel' or 'carnival show'. It was just ridiculous. I think the hotel's guests really would appreciate if there were higher quality shows. Cheese and processed meat was terrible. It would have been better if they didn't serve intercontinental breakfast at all. Once when we went for a day trip in the early morning, we requested a breakfast box. Big mistake. It was terrible. A dry bun with only one slice of cheese.
I liked the location, excellent and rich coral reef right at the end of the pier. The hotel's property is absolutely beautiful, it is an enormous area. The pool is clean, and it was heated in the end of January, which felt great. Kitchen was OK, but there could have been more seafood. The rooom was really comfortable. The overall experience absolutely met or even exceeded my expectations.
