Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

I had a room with terrace just above the place where a wedding took place with a disco. There was a lot of noise coming from the disco into my room. Rooms should not be given to guests if they are straight above the place where a disco is taking place.

We honestly could not fault the service or quality of food. This is probably our 5th visit and it gets better each time.
The breakfast was excellent, and well displayed. Although the hotel was busy, the buffet remained replenished with plenty of choice. The omlettes cooked to order were superb. Tables were cleared swiftly and efficiently- staff were very friendly. The check in/check out staff were friendly and efficient. We enjoyed some fabulous cocktails in the Cocktail Bar each evening!

The swimming pool was amazing ! They gave towel at pool and had ample space to relax. The rooms very spacious and extremely clean ! very pleasant stay overall !

Breakfast was great. Room also. To cold outside to use the pool the first week in April. I liked that we could use the nearby bus ti get to the center of the city. God to have that option. The reception staff were really nice

Breakfast not good. When I stepped away from table to get an coffee someone else sat down at my place. Another time, staff removed my partially eaten breakfast. Also,. breakfast cost is extremely high for someone who only has a light breakfast.
Location not good for a vacationer, but we figured out the tussan bus system, and it worked well, except when the football game happened, and bus schedules changed.

While my overall experience was satisfactory, I feel it's important to mention a potential issue. The room's window was notably smaller than what was shown in the online photos, leading to a lack of natural daylight. This might not be a major concern for a short stay, but it could be a significant inconvenience for those planning a longer visit.
I recently stayed at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the room's cleanliness and the bed's comfort. The hotel is well-situated, especially if you plan to use bus services to travel into the city center.

The breakfast could have been better or at least more varied. In some respects, the hotel is showing its age: the tiling has black spots, for instance. There was no drain in the bathroom floor that I could see, so the water just pooled near the bathtub if you were not very careful when taking a shower. There was a bad smell coming from the AC several times.
Cleaning staff did a good job, the people at the reception were helpful and polite. The food at the hotel restaurant was OK. Good coffee. Comfortable bed & pillows. Quiet.

The rooms was nice and spacious with a very comfortable extra large bed. There was a lovely atmosphere around the hotel not too busy but a nice buzz, the breakfast buffet is exceptional I’ve never quite seen anything like it before!!!! Also a lovely pool area which was perfectly looked after.

Dinner offerings were rather limited as was lunch. The hotel is not in a very convenient location if you do not have a car.
Breakfast offered an outstanding selection of food to suit most tastes. The staff were all very pleasant and co-operatve.
