Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Not a fault of the apartments but other guests did not take notice of the quiet policy felt sorry for the families who got woken by the piss heads who couldn't hold their drink and thought it was fun to shout in the corridors

The location is excellent; staff are mostly friendly (!); lovely bar downstairs and whilst we didn't eat there other people staying at the apartments said the food was spot on and very reasonable. The apartments accommodated my request fro a double bed and not 2 singles which was lovely.

Quite pleasant apart from karaoke at night
Reception staff are excellent and friendly, room male staff will have you scalped quicker than a red Indian scalps the cavalry, so don't forget anything 😉

The attitude of the woman working in the bar.
This apartment has everything you need down to some complementary washing liquid/detergent, a sponge to clean your dishes, a dish cloth, an absorbent cloth to clean the kitchen and a fresh bin liner along with two shower gels upon arrival. I was delighted when I opened the door of my apartment to a bright airy, freshly cleaned apartment which also had other things which came in handy such as a hairdryer, clothes hanger (neatly stored in the wardrobe) a toaster and a kettle also neatly stored away along with a scissors even included in one of the bottom presses (hugely impressed by this as a girl who always needs to trip her false eyelashes and forgot to upon arrival). The reception area was very bright, airy and clean on arrival and I could not fault the reception staff and their professionalism. While the property may be a little bit on the right side in the bedroom (with clearly used space), the living room area was quite spacious and also included a microwave and flat screen TV. The reception is 24 hrs for all your needs. The only let down was that I was unaware there would be a charge for the use of sunbeds which is uncommon to me. I was obviously surprised but the reaction of the bar girl when I questioned this (as I thought this my have been a few for outside guests not realising it was policy of the hotel) was extremely rude, especially at 5pm in April when there wasn't much sun left to be caught and I only wanted to spend 30 minutes at the pool just to make some use of the facility being there for a short stay Upon bringing this to the attention of the reception regarding her manner, the receptionist agreed that others have also complained about her manner.

Another enjoyable stay at the Doramar! The room was nice and clean, staff friendly both on the reception and in the bar below. Great location. Hoping to stay here again in December.

You have to clean it yourself and take all rubbish and put it in large bins behind the property when you leave or else you get charged extra.

The walls are very thin You can hear the people in the room next door very clearly.

Mattresses are a little to hard ..but thsts just my preference my partner slept like a baby
I stay here often perfect pesition for bars beach and buses..cheap but very clean and staff are lovely and friendly. Also nice pool and bar ..with karaoke every night..only ever had breakfast here but was really good and great price ..also bar next door which we love .. If you get a family room you get an amazing view .x
