Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Wifi connection is very poor sometimes.
Very pleasant and cozy place. Kitchen fully equipped. Mini balcony was very nice. Obviously the place is not new but everything works fine. Comfortable bed and couch.

Good room, great bed. Great service. Everything I mentioned was arranged before arrival (bed in corner, baby chair, baby bed), that was a great start and the service was great throughout.

Location is far from the city centre, although you can take the metro which only takes 15 minutes. There are not that many bars or restaurants close to the apartment. The beds are very hard.
Very friendly and helpful staff, apartment was cleaned every day. Apartment was equipped with everything in the kitchen and bathroom. Lovely roof terrace with sun loungers and a small pool. Supermarket next door.

The design of the hotel is rather dull and dark. A change of style would probably help.
I booked a single apartment, which was clean, functional and comfortable. The staff were kind and very helpful. The breakfast was good and abundant. A bonus is the roof terrace with a tiny pool and excellent views of north Barcelona. The location is outside the city centre, but there are excellent transport links (two subway stations within walking distance). The quiet setting is also unusual for Barcelona.

Inconsiderate behaviour of other guests in nearby rooms who made a lot of noise during the night. Hotel staff are responsive and will intervene.
Friendly helpful staff. Quiet location near edge of city with easy access into town or to Parc Guell and Tibidado park and walks beyond

So unfortunately for us, it wasn’t the best experience, Me and my girlfriend came very tired around 23;30, and we have received two single beds instead of a double bed - the lobby guy saw we were a couple but gave us a room with two single beds, this is very unprofessional Also we got really thirsty but It had no water or drink in the room’s bar And We kept hearing noise the whole night from outside, it woke us up. Another thing that it had no warm sheet, was a bit cold

Manager entered my room by unlocking the door even if I had the "do not disturb" sign on the door, he said just confusion and left. When I went to front desk to tell them I don't feel safe and is not wright what happened, the manager reply "if you don't like it, you can go"... Was the most horrible experience ever. And at 10 PM front desk called me in the room to ask me to leave next day cause the manager doesn't like what happened and the fact that I put a comment on booking about what happened. I don't recommend to anybody that hotel! There is no double lock or chain to secure from the inside! Front desk people from the morning were helpful but nothing could erase the behavious of that person that is named manager but doesn't deserve the title! The manager practically distroyed my vacation! The worst behaviour!!! I don't want to know what happens in the rooms when the guests leave and he has access to the rooms...

The bin was full from previous occupants. Walls were thin you could hear everything. Air-conditioning not working properly . They made me payed extra fees at the check out for the government which I never head of in my life . I wouldnt recommend to anyone to stay here the price does no mach with the quality at all.
The swimming was a very good asset to the location

Hotel could do with a refurb. Quite old and dated. Bed was too firm and bathroom was smelly.
Easy to get to. Staff were friendly enough and gave us a map of the metro which was helpful

it was very noisy in the mornings, you could hear people pulling chairs along the floor and the bright light from the parking sign was on 24/7 which shone in our window. I also didn’t like how you couldn’t close the curtains fully in the bedroom as this made it very difficult to sleep
the roof terrace was lovely and very quiet so it felt like you had the space to yourself most days, I also liked the fridge and cooking area in the kitchen as it was well equipped
