Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomIt was really pricy. The doors were not soundproof; I was woken up by a loud/noisy next door traveller 3times at night.
The location was perfect! You could oversee Sagrada Familia from your room or the breakfast lounge.

Latvia1) What I didn't like firstly is lack of toilet brush 😒 2) Rooms for 4 star hotel in such place should be renovated.I would pay more for renovated room. 3) Tremendous coffee was not fulfilled next day, a pity. 4) It was not understoodable how to call the reception. No signs on the phone. Ofcours it is not the main issues, but it minors the hotel reputation.
1) The only room you should take with view on Sagrada. 2) Full dispencer of soap and shampoon in the bathroom was one of the things I liked. 3) Stuff really friendly 4) Terrace super with astonish Sangria and food. And ofcourse view of Sagrada and Instagram places. 5) You can find toothbrush and other accessories in bathroom - real plus. 6) Provided Iron was great compared to the other hotels. 7) Pillows I appreciated as to those with problems with neck. 8) Big TV with easy hdmi connection if you understand how hard sometimes is to connect hdmi to hotel tv))) 9) Really fast wifi. Download from torrents was around 10mb.sek. 10) Breakfast is worth 16eur for sure.

AustriaThe view was not like in the photos, you can only see the top of La Sagrada when you’re near the window. Based on the photos of the room I book, I was expecting to have view from the bed. There were also dirty walls, broken doors and parket. Not worth the money, even though the location was perfect.

NetherlandsThe magnet of our key cards kept de-magnetizing and we went to the front desk about 7 times for the same issue. The room was smaller as expected but still okay.
The location and the view was amazing, as well the drinks in the roof bar were tasty and very good - the price is high but is worth for one-day visit. Room was clean, nothing luxurious or over-the-top but it was enough. The breakfast was tasty and they served fresh orange juice and tortilla de patatas.

United KingdomNothing.
The view of the Sagrada Familia was a joy to see from our bedroom window. Location was perfect. Modern decor, albeit a few maintenance jobs could be done, good storage and very clean. Every member of staff we interfaced with was pleasant, efficient and professional. Room service delivery was free, which we love, and the food was very good. The roof terrace is wonderful.

United KingdomStreet noise, no sound proofing.
The hotel was in a great location for the sagrida. The view from the rooftop bar was excellent. Very good metro, and bus links to the city and beach. Staff helpful and friendly. However, the room itself was in need of an upgrade. Tired and showed signs of wear. Blind was ripped and dirty. Shelves were coming away from the wall. Doors and walls scuffed. Mini fridge and one bottle of water. No kettle. Sliding "balcony door" not opening properly and dirty. Very expensive room rate plus city tax! (I did not have breakfast as there are loads of cake shops, McDonald's, KFC cheaper in the area), not a 4* sadly.

TaiwanSince we(, which are 4 persons), don't have the room-cleaning service one of the days, we ask the counter for 4 bottles of water which each bottle contains 330ml but we are charged 1.5€ for each bottle.
The hotel is well-located. The views from the room and bar at the roof are awesome. The breakfast is good as well.

BulgariaThe furnitures in the room are quite old and the price for it is bit more for it. Also the city tax that should be paid on site it was not described clearly in the description. There was smaill text part of the confirmation email that is not fear.

United States of AmericaThere was a beeping sound in the room and the room was very hot. Not anything that is super annoying though. Also the rooftop is filled with clients, I feel that the hotel clients should have priority.

SlovakiaBathroom ... what in the world? This needs to be corrected - please. Rusty heater/radiator - should have been replaced for a different type, leaking ceiling in above the shower (with actual dripping coming and going), poorly draining water in the bathroom sink, sealing on the shower glass seriously needs to be changed... overall, a bad look, for such a well located hotel and such a nice staff.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff and the location. The staff is truly super nice, always helpful and attentive. The location AND the roof top terrace with views of Sagrada Familia are excellent. Close to metro and many shops, even a 24h open grocery store. Very good breakfast as well. I didn't like the pillows, but the staff is happy to bring you different types per your preference.
