Keeping the shared bathrooms clean was a SERIOUS CHALLENGE for their staff. Some GUESTS seem to do their necessities on the floor. One case, someone had pooed on the shower floor and left it like that. I told the staff at reception around. 11pm. Till the next morning, the floor still filled with POO. The challenge with bathrooms went b everyday of my stay. Oct 2023. Although very cheap hostel, it's not a good value. I had visited this hotel in 2012. It had a nicer different vibe.

The Staff tried their best; from daily cleaning to reception. Very helpful. Specially during the late night.

The street is loud which makes it hard to sleep because you can’t leave the window open to keep the room cool because it’s too loud. The rooms also have no soundproofing so we were kept awake by children who live in the building screaming until past 1am.

The location right next to the metro is fantastic and it’s a short walk to the beach at Badalona

The public kitchen was not so clean

I had a bed in a four bed dorm . My neighbours were very kind and calm. The beds and rooms were clean and the staff friendly to every day time. The public showers and toilets were more or less clean at least in the morning after cleaning time. The lockers worked but quite loud when you had to use them in the night. Quite near to the beach and a supermarket.

Facilities are ok but it could be a lot better. Some rooms are dark cause there are no windows. The air conditioner was always on, but it doesn't appear to be working efficiently. The drying machine wasn't working. The washing machine schedule starts too late (9AM) so if you need to wash your clothes early in the morning that is not an option.

The price is good. The check in is continuous and that is also good. The staff is very kind and always available to attend to the needs of the traveler. The washing machine includes soap and softener. Lockers are big.

kitchen: There isn’t enough pots and pans, dishes to eat with or cutlery. The most disturbing thing for me was that the kitchen isn’t ventilated, so the smell of cooking and frying stays for long time (I HATE the smell of fried meat…). The showers room is build with small showers, and no room to change clothes. So if someone will open the door while your changing, anyone in the corridor can see you. As in most of the hostels, the bunk beds are from metal, so they make screech noises. Room 110 was too small for 6 people. The locker’s door was very close to another bed, and it made it uneasy to use the locker. In both rooms there was a big window, but for some reason it is only possible to open 1/3 of it. The public spaces are big and nice.

The big advantage of the hostel for me was the location, which is only 13 minutes walk from the sea shore – strait walk to the bridge that goes over the rail tracks. I stayed 2 nights in a 4-bed room (room no. 105), and 1 night in a 6-bed room (no. 110). in room 105 the mattress was a sponge mattress, and it was comfortable. In room 110 it was an innerspring mattress, a bit old, so I could feel it in my back. The kitchen is pretty spacious. Fine cooking stoves and 3 refrigerators. You get a free locker, with strong lock mechanism. Nice staff. There is someone 24 hours a day, the check-in from 12pm and check-out until 11am. There is a washing machine (4 euro cost) and dryer (3 euro).

A man in my room threw up on my bed, and all rooms were booked so i had to sleep at the hallway. Good thing I’m a flexible person so this wasn’t a bit problem since the couch at the hallway was kinda comfortable. But I was kinda disappointed they didn’t offer any other solution.

Dirty and small bed, they only placed the last covers back to cover the bed, the bed and covers themselves were dirty, no pillow covers and you still need to take 30-45min of public transportation to get back into the city zone

-Excellent location - good transport links, very close to metro, public transport -short walk to the beach ( bus available too). -Friendly helpful staff -Good size communal kitchen Lots of shops, amenities & food eating options available near by. - A gluten free bakery- less than 10minute walk away - Lots of communal space & an inner courtyard -I had a single room, ground floor, relatively quiet traffic street outside my room. Room had working air con, small but has under bed space, handing space etc . - Working WiFi & 24hr reception

Friendly stuff, super clean double room and nice warm water in the shower. Special thanks to the hotel cleaners! Double rooms were also silent.

I've been there 7 years ago I enjoyed the location, its near the beach, but the hostel is too old to dark facilities not that good, not clean, you would expect after all those years they will make some changes.

1) Room air conditioner not working properly, only can feel hot air even at tempreture set point 17°c. 2) There is no power plug near to the bed.

Everything else was terrible. Beds are very loud and squeaky, no power sockets near the bed, showers are absolutely awful (you must constantly keep pushing the tap to get water running or it doesn’t work. It’s nice to preserve water but this was the worst solution for this). Kitchen was very messy and there was no cutlery. And the staff was not friendly and helpful at all. And my worst pet peeve of every hostel: charging for towels. They are charging 30 (thirty!!!) euros for a thin mattress and a squeaky bed, with little else to offer… how hard it is to provide towels for guests? In general it served the purpose of place to stay before an early morning flight, but I have been to cheaper places that offer a lot more.

Almost no maintenance done on the property. The windows didn’t lock so it was possible for someone to climb in. There was mould in the bathroom and cockroaches in the bedroom. We were only there for a few nights but would not stay longer. Expensive for the poor quality.

Best thing is location. If you like the beach you can find the most clean beach I ever have seen. 5min walk.. Amazing!
