Excellent location . Beautiful hotel and lovely staff. They were very helpful. Varied breakfast, room spacious. A lovely big bathroom and bedroom is very good with comfy beds. The location was in the center of Barcelona. You're within a 15 minute drive of all the tourist attractions. Lockers were available for luggage. Thank you, excellent.

Amazing hotel, the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Very clean and the bed was a little small but the building materials were incredible. The ceiling shower is life changing. The location was in the center of Barcelona. You're within a 15 minute drive of all the tourist attractions.

Air conditioning was set to heating and couldn’t be changed. It was too warm. The advice from reception was to leave a window open. Our bed was two singles pushed together which created a void between us. Bed was comfortable though. No spare pillows provided.

Great location. Easy walk to La Rambla, metro and restaurants. Because of the one way streets, the airport Aerobus stop is close by for drop off, but is a couple of blocks away for pickup back to the airport. Breakfast was a fair selection of hot and cold (bacon and eggs, cold cuts), pastries, cereal, juice, fresh fruit. A small balcony overlooks surrounding apartment private balconies. A lovely big bathroom but bedroom was quite small. A minibar but no kettle etc.

The use of the TV remote control is not so intuitive. Basic written instructions for its use would be helpful especially as there are rooms where not all channels run properly, some not being listed.

It was so good that I extended my previous reservation. Even if in Barcelona every room is good enough to be rented and there will always be tourists to accept any kind of room without complaining (while paying high rates for accommodation), I can assure you that Caledonian Hotel is not that kind of hotel. They are so dedicated, detailed and client oriented. They offer quality in every single aspect for their guests. Competitors (especially in the neighbourhood) must have difficult time to compete with Caledonian Hotel which is proven also by the clients' overall reviews. Highly recommended.

If possible, choose double room. Single room is really small. Even so, conditions are very good also in the single rooms.

I extended my reservation several times for a couple of weeks. It really exceeded my expectations. Hotel looks like having been recently renovated. New furniture. New bathrooms. Comfy beds. All areas are clean. The only one service I didn't try was the breakfast as there is a wide variety of options in the neighbourhood (the hotel is situated in the city center). Staff did a great job, each of them in their area. Special thanks and greetings to Dalyn from the reception desk who did her best for my staying to be exceptional.

Small disadvantages: - the restroom did not have a toilet brush - no ventilation for the restroom - the only available mirror was the one in the bathroom

The staff was really friendly, the room was cleaned daily (bedsheets if needed & towels & products), bed was comfortable and the location was really good (bus station in front of the hotel & 2 metro stations about 4 minutes away). Really liked the place

Maybe an additional towel peg would have been handy. The elevator malfunctioned one day, but signs were put up and the service lift was available, so there was no need to climb 6 flights of stairs (!) -- and the lift was repaired pretty swiftly, considering it was Sunday.

I had a quiet single room on the 5th floor, which had a view of Montjuïc and the courtyards of adjacent apartment houses. The room was small but comfortable, and the bathroom was well-appointed. Very pleasant staff, particularly in the breakfast room. Lockers were available for luggage, as I arrived well before checkin time (2pm). Not a luxury accommodation, but very central, and perfectly adequate to my needs.

View from the rooms in the back is really not special, guests can see each other. No coffee machine in the room, however there was one in the lobby, only for us on the 6th floor it took a while to reach.

Hotel is renovated, beds are comfortable, everything was clean. Nice toiletries. Location was also good.

Hotel located in very good place. You can easily walk to metro stations: L1 one side Urgell 3min and on other side L1&L2 Universitat 2min. We spend 3 nights in double room with terrace. It was amazing, room was clean, terrace was big and comfy with the two chairs and table also we had two sunbeds. From the 6th floor you can see Familia Segrada and also nice street view.

Could not set room temperature during our stay and the room had a tendency to get stuffy when AC not running. Would have liked to be able to adjust our room temperature.

Good location to the airport bus stops. Lots of restaurants, and easy to walk to Old Town. Very clean and quiet room. Good size bathroom & nice shower.

Breakfast was expensive for what it was, we had a look at what was on offer but decided not to use as we felt the price didn't justify what was on offer. Had to ask for extra pillows as pillows were too thin didn't sleep very well first night because of this. Asked for extra pillow and slept really well after that.

Rooms were spacious and quiet,lovely bathroom with good shower was in a short walking distance of main square for ease of using the tourist bus. Complimentary bottles of water in mini fridge. On check out we were given bottles of water to use for our trip to the airport which was a nice touch. Would definitely stay again if visiting Barcelona.
