Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaOur stay here in Granada was splendid! Their staff and service is exceptional ; from the first email explaining how to arrive to checkin to restaurant recommendations and the complimentary bottle of champagne and afternoon “tea time”. This boutique hotel was clean and within walking distance of everything we explored. It’s fantastic… and on our list to return to it if in Granada again

United States of AmericaThere was a bad smell when you turned on the air conditioning. It was in the bathroom faintly when we arrived, but was really bad when you turned the AC on.
We liked the courtyard and the free snacks in the afternoon. Also, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the staff was genuinely kind!

Hong KongThe closest carpark is 10 minutes away by walking, so if you have a lot of suitcase and you plan to drag them to the hotel it is going to be quite tough. The room was facing a courtyard, during the breakfast time it was a bit loud because the window glass was not double glazed.
Located in the old town, it is convenient to go to the historical sites. The room is clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful.

United States of AmericaThe room was warm at night and the AC hardly worked. We opened the window and still it was warm. Also - if you come by car, recommend parking further out (30 min walk).

United States of AmericaThere is construction being done on the sidewalk/road outside of the hotel entry. It made the walk to the hotel entry a little difficult and dirty as the path was a mixture of bricks, sand and cement.
Good location, beautiful decor, clean and helpful staff.

PolandOne room on ground floor #1 practically has no daily light, feels like a luxourious closet. Furniture, bathroom is great, but you can not see anything through the window.
The welcome tea and coffee with little sandwiches and sweets around 3 pm was a wonderfull idea. Breakfest was great. We would like to send a special thanks to Enrico, at the reception, he was very helpful and accomodating to our needs!

SwitzerlandUnfortunately the sewers (and probably everything else !) in the alley to get to the hotel were being dug up and renewed, so there were huge holes in the middle of the path. Luckily it hadn't rained, so the suitcases only got dust on them ! This wasn't the hotel's fault, and they kept the hallway entry scrupulously clean. We didn't hear the workmen in our room, so it was a minor inconvenience. I found that the edge of the bed sloped downwards a bit (maybe a memory foam topper ?) so if I wasn't careful and was too near the edge I felt that I would roll out of bed ! I get used to it though !
The staff were friendly and helpful, especially the waitress who worked in the afternoon to do the afternoon teas (a very welcome touch and much appreciated). She went way beyond what she needed to do to help me with the sore throat I was suffering from ! The welcoming bottle of bubbly was a lovely gesture, and the tea and coffee making facilities were a great extra. It was nice that the room (6) looked down into the courtyard and was lovely and quiet.

United States of AmericaNo prior communication about access to the room (only by stairs). The floor in the room could have been cleaner; undoubtedly this was because of the stairs only access.
Location was great. Unfortunately the street was under major construction, which is not the fault of the property. The room was great but we were surprised that it was only accessible by stairs, three flights of them. We could handle that but some guests might not. This should have been made clear before arrival. We didn’t eat the breakfast but the free snacks in the afternoon were much appreciated! Front desk staff arranged for a taxi for our transfer to the train station on check out and the driver walked in to help with our luggage.

United KingdomAccess to the hotel even by foot was challenging due to road works, as with a large area of the city. It would've been nice to know this in advance. Room smelt slightly strange.
There's a free 'tea time' in the afternoon which I thought was a great touch. The lobby area is beautiful and nice atmosphere. Rooms were clean and well stocked/ furnished. Staff was nice.

IrelandProperty is in a little back street and you have to walk through a couple of little streets to get to it. Work is also being carried out in these streets so not nice avoiding work traffic and ground work.
Prpoerty was nicely located just off Plaza Nueva and decorated in a regal style. Furniture seating was very comfortable and beds were top drawer. Great breakfast available and afternoon tea is available with lots of nice treats on offer, all for free.
