Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

RomaniaThe rooms were rusty, the mattresses were old and deteriorated. The general impression was that, although clean, everything was old, nothing renewed. We also had a parking, but some nights it was so full, that we improvised a place and hoped we would not see our car damaged. Also the entrance in the parking is so narrow that you have trouble going on with a bigger (not to say medium) car. Breakfast was not tasty at all.
The property is good value for money, has a nice terrace and a nice view. They have a parking for 5 EUR per day.

LithuaniaNot very spacious. Easier for a single person to get around the place, but being two people would be difficult
The person at the reception was very lovely. The apartment has all the necessary stuff. The best part - the balcony.

United KingdomThere is a catastrophic parking lot. Just absolutely awful. Costs 5€ per day and is accessed via another hotel’s parking lot. The other hotel, however, doesn’t bother to even make it accessible, so you end up making very sharp turns between parked cars and then up the hill to access this small terrible parking with a capacity of 5-6 cars. If you wanted to park on the surrounding streets - they are always full. Another negative - the walls are very thin. You can hear everything from everywhere. Luckily the hotel has quiet hours policy and are willing to intervene when you report the nuisance.
The property was old, but I oddly liked it. The breakfast was very simple, but good value for money and the guy who runs the restaurant took a great care of us. The rooftop bar and pool were amazing, with great views of the city, the ocean, and the Mt Teide peak. There even were free binoculars to enjoy the views even more.

United KingdomThe pool opening at 2pm was a bit annoying if you wanted to get a drink before then, but it really wasn't that much of a hindrance. There was a coffee machine downstairs and in the room so you could easily sustain yourself until then.
The breakfast had a range of options from fruits and cereals to hot breakfast. The facilities were basic but lovely and it was great value for money. The roof-top pool area was lovely and quiet. It had a pool bar which opens at 2pm and a great view. The staff were all lovely too. There was also musical entertainment on the Friday and Saturday nights.

IcelandMy room had 2 big holes on the wall in the bathroom where I would get unwanted bugs to visit me!! I think they should fix this before renting out the room. You also need to be in good shape to get to the hotel, it’s all up hill, but taxi are also very cheap so no worries.
The man in the reception was so nice and helpful. All the cleaning staff do excellent work, big compliments to them. The view from the terrace is amazing and the pool is cozy.

PolandKitchen in the room was not adequate. The hotel was nearly in ruins I feared for my life. Wifi was beyond useless. We had to use the WiFi from the Eden hotel that was almost 100 meters away. It was much better.
The pool with nice sunbeds, the small bar with nice staff. The balcony was real nice.

United KingdomRestaurant only open for breakfast. Outside pool cafe was the only place to eat after breakfast. It was not a comfortable place to eat. Very little privacy on balcony. The kitchen area was a converted wardrobe with very little equipment. Two cups and two glasses a few pans which didn't look clean.
The beds were comfortable and the room was cleaned every day. The hotel was generally quiet at night.

United KingdomThe parking caused us some amusement as it was located through the car parking from another hotel and took some careful driving to reach.
The "faded charm" of this hotel, situated a distance away from the centre with views over the town from the top floor bar. The pool area and bar and helpful staff there. The balcony was lovely, looking eastwards with mountain and town views. The room was especially clean and the addition of a small kitchen area really useful.

IrelandPatio fully walled but i suppose there was the only option for the building. Walk uphill on a narrow footpath to reach the hotel not much suitable for older customers but on the other way - taxi from the seafront costs around 5 euro.
Very nice, wholesome breakfast for every taste. Big room, clean, toiletries in the bathroom. Surrounding area with a nice park Sortija, down the hill on Calle Botanico small but surprisingly beautiful private botanic garden Sitio Litre oozing atmosphere and quiet.

PolandThe hotel itself is ok, but we have got a room without a window which based on other opinions is a typical practice of this hotel for clients coming from booking.com. Only after we told them we don't want to stay there and the room we booked is supposed to have balcony, the receptionist said they would change our room, BUT not today, because they are fully booked... No comment, really. The new room the next day was fine though.
