Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomThe room was without the sea view, however paid for the sea view. I asked to change the room and they refused to do that.

NetherlandsTalking about the beach: you should be ready for MANY nudists, they tend to take long walks there...to get there from the hotel you need to take some steps, no possibility to get down for disabled people. In the hotel you feel like you went back in time to 80's or so, also very bad internet connection from rooms (even mobile one): if you plan to work there, you could do it only from central areas like reception hall...not much entertainment offered, even there was some. The pool was heated, but not that much, so we could not really enjoy it. There is no city around, so you need to take a bus to the closest one (10-15 min drive), we tried on Sunday, but the bus was already full so did not stop and we had to take a taxi instead for 12-15 euro one way.
The best of this hotel is its location. Directly on the beach with white sand. Wonderful view from almost each spot of the hotel's area. The food was 50/50: you could find smth to your taste, but nothing spectacular. Coffee was also not bad (definitely much better that at some other hotels we used to stay on the island). Friendly personnel, always helpful, could speak many different languages well: English, German (most guests were German speaking), Dutch and others. Rooms old fashioned, but we'll cleaned and was comfortable for us, also good beds as to our taste.

United KingdomOne of the staff called Raphael, was extremely rude, aggressive and confrontational. He did not have any respect for people, even abused elderly guests, and I don't think he should be working there anymore.
We loved the outside of the hotel with the beach and large pools. The food was amazing, and the servers were extremely friendly.

United Kingdomit’s in the middle of nowhere really- ie nothing really in walking distance! which is ok for a short while or if you’re happy just staying in the resort but if you want to go to a town would need to get buses/ taxis etc! we only there for 6 days so didn’t bother us too much! the cocktails wern’t very nice in my opinion- wish they had some malibu but overall can’t fault the staff- everyone so welcoming!
staff are super friendly (every single one of them)!! gorgeous beach & nice view from the room & food always fresh! i was quite suprised to have signal/ internet everywhere- after reading the reviews-i didn’t need to buy the wifi i just used my own on phone!

United KingdomWe had a car so it wasn't an issue but if you are going here without a car you would need to get a bus (which seems to come quite regularly), to get to slightly less windy beaches or any shops/bars/ restaurants. Very windy at times, but this is typical of the island.
Beautiful location on a cliff side overlooking a beautiful beach. Short drive to the beautiful beach of Mal Nombre (although you could walk to this along the beach at low tide). The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Short drive to Morro Jable that has some of the best snorkelling spots on the Island and some great beachside restaurants.

GermanyThe place is falling apart. Owner does not seem to be willing to invest a cent into maintenance. The stairs to the beach are unusable. There is definitly a major danger of injury. Most outdoor lights are broken, parts of the lamps just laying around, open electric wires. Pools are missing lots of tiles, plaster is falling of the walls, Ping Pong table is "repaired" by utelizing a plastic cup instead of the missing foot. Door to our room has cracks so wide, that mosquitos have no problems of finding their way in. Pool table is missing balls, Air hockey seems to be clogged in some areas. The sound system for evening entertainment is broken, randomly blasts super loud sound fragments into the audience, makes it impossible to enjoy any show. Made kids run away screaming form the mini disco.
Great location, also very nice architecture, all rooms with ocean view, direct beach access, beautiful beach

United KingdomVery very dated and in need of lots of repairs all around the hotel - can understand why it was a cheaper option as it is pretty run down condition wise. Cockroach was in our room on night two - they did come and clean it and bug spray the next day but hardly slept as worried it (and more) would be back! Air con didn’t work in the room - seemed to be heating more than cooling. Every piece of furniture needed repairing - loungers by the pool, seating by the pool, tables etc Wifi chargeable and even phone reception (Vodafone) was zero in the rooms. Food was a little samey- lots of pork and meatballs and dessert was the same every day.
Pleasantly surprised by the family room - expected a sofa bed and twin beds in one room but actually got a two bedroom room with 2 beds in each so was perfect for the 4 of us. Pool size was great, two pools so never felt crowded when in the pool. Staff were friendly.

United KingdomI was charged for 3 adults! however, I was only with my 14 years old son. I told them , firstly, they said this is the rules & we didn’t creat it. The 2nd day we realised that our bed had bed bugs that covered all our body that we couldn’t sleep for the rest of our stay & even we couldn’t enjoy our holiday at all. we took photos & videos & even showed them the bed bugs. they tried to persuade us that it was mosquito even though they saw it & we google it that exactly was same. they changed our room but of course the bed bugs were transferred to the new room & it was with us for at least 5-6 days & really made the experience for us bitter.

United KingdomThe resort is great. Pretty huge. Seaview rooms are worth it for the view. Fabulous food and great staff. Gabriella on reception is exceptional at her job and will solve anything. Very kind girl. Giovanni is the best bar man ever. The pool and lounger area are fantastic. I would definitely return here for holidays. Its been a great few days break in December away from the cold. The weather was lovely and warm. Approx 100 euros each way for taxi to and from airport. Thank you to all at Club Paraiso for looking after me.

GermanyOnly the WiFi in the lobby is free. There is some WiFi in the room, that will require you to pay ridiculous rates per day/week. It seemed like this place has its best days behind it. While the buffet was good, it was mostly the same. The whole building looks quite aged and not well maintained.
It is a large property adjacent to the beach. There are two pools, a small playground and lots of activities. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The rooms were (to a large part) clean. The place was very calm and only few guests stayed there. Food buffet was good.
