To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

United States of AmericaWe were on the 7th floor, which was quiet overall, though for some reason there were people on the roof top terrace working at 6am every morning. Moving tables or chairs around. We hardly heard the people at night, but the morning was louder. We did tell the front desk when we left. It really wasn’t bad enough to change rooms.
Loved the location between Casa Mila and Casa Batlo. Easy to get anywhere else in the city and plenty to do and places to eat and shop within walking distance. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The roof top terrace was lovely! The food was good.

SingaporeBathroom badly designed and very big drawback to comfort of stay. So many silly, bad points!! Step dividing the confined area is a hazzard! Inevitable water splashing from shower stall makes the whole place messy and adds to the hazzard. Going into the toilet stall requires deft manouvering between the main door and the internal glass door, and minding the step. Flashy but flimsy cistern buttons. Why the gap between the table top and the back wall? Not hooks to hang the big towels after showering. Internal glass doors right up to ceiling also unhelpful in this regard and totally superfluous.
Location, location, location - great for shopping and access for eating out. Great breakfast spread; terrace a happy place to chill at end of day. A winning service was allowing us to store luggage several days prior to checkin. A high recommendation to friends and family. But see below.

Breakfast was also very good, again breakfast staff were always very pleasant. The room was just fine, we had a balcony with a great view especially at night. We were within walking distance to many main attractions.

The hotel is in an excellent location for shopping and also getting to know the gracia neighborhood which has the most beautiful buildings (incl the 2 Gaudi ones on the hotels doorstep). The reception staff are friendly and efficient and help in any way possible! Our room was exceptionally spacious and had a view out onto a gorgeous period building. We used the rooftop pool which is nice and sat at the rooftop bar. The hotel breakfast is very generous but it does cost 20 euros (we had breakfast also at Oasis on Psg de Gracia which is excellent and also does a wonderful pizza).
