Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

when we arrived around 16h our room wasn't ready yet, we could wait and have a free drink. In the end they offered us free parking for our inconvenience which we appreciated very much.
the hotel is situated at a 45 minutes walk from our favourite neighbourhood "El Borne" Staff are super friendly and the beds were of an incredible quality. We slept perfect here. Everything we needed was there. Good water pressure, fridge, watercooker. We enjoyed our stay very much

price quite high- 250EUR per 2 with breakfast via booking.com, bathroom missing fan, paper towels, rag for toilet, bit dirt around bath tub, I would expect a bit more from 4* in rooms, small wellness after all days sightseeing & scales on reception to measure weight of your luggage before departure would be handy

The doors to the bathroom and shower room were loose and the handles on them too. Mold in the shower. Not very new furniture. The baseboards swelled from moisture and looked terrible

Couple of broken sun loungers on roof terrace. This is the only thing i noticed, cant really fault anything else with hotel. Beach is only 5-10 mins walk so didn't effect too much .
Clean hotel, great location, very helpful friendly staff nothing too much for them. Free luggage storage, free minibar soft drinks in room. I would defintely go back to this hotel in future.

large clean and quiet rooms, friendly staff and good quality buffet breakfast. Location was a 45 min walk to the centre, but a €10 taxi and one block from Rambla de Poblenou with a good range of bars and restaurants. Taxi rank opposite the hotel which was convenient. Secure underground parking on site (even accepted our 2.35m with roof box on -1 despite signs saying 2.2m. Reasonably well equipped gym.

Location is close to the beach and to the main street of Poblenou district, good offer of places to eat nearby. Quiet. Bus number 6 has a final stop just around the corner and can bring you to L’Example area (Sagrada Familia, Passage de Gracia, Rambla de Catalunia).

Breakfast was poor and all the same all 6 days in a row. The metro was closed for the staying days, that we could not know and we spent much more money to reach the hotel from centre. There was a bus station neat the hotel, but the bus just from 9:00-22:40. Cleaning was very bad. Just made the bed and new towels. But all the dusts everywhere.. No sound prooving! You hear everything from the next room, the door closing system is very loud, if you are with kids and f.e.: your nabour is going in and out from the room, it is not normally too loud, you can not sleep..
The room was quite big. For 3 of us it was 3 comfortable beds. Near the beach.

Very Noisy early in the morning in the hallway (cleaning crew). And one day, a housekeeper member (man) barged into my room without even knocking. This is not ok in any country!
Good location, lots of decent restaurants in the area, close to beach. Nice roof top and pool.

Breakfast. I saw many people write that the hotel has good breakfast. It seems to me that the breakfasts there are monotonous and not very healthy. Those who love desserts will enjoy the breakfasts. There really were a lot of desserts. Well, Wi-Fi is as usual in all hotels... I used the Internet from my mobile phone operator.
I liked the good water pressure and the shower itself. I liked the size of the room. Spacious enough. It’s also great that there are blackout curtains, it’s really dark at night. Comfortable to sleep.
