The dinner and breakfast had gone up in price. The drinks in the room were not refreshed each day. They had no coffee. They were unable to change money in reception.

Lovely room with view over the sea. Close to good restaurants.

Original room was right at the top of hotel at the back ...nothing like the rooms advertised, claustrophobic, we asked to change and were charged 30 euros per night for a room with a balcony. We have stayed in this hotel before and automatically given a balcony room so I really wasnt happy . The hotel is starting to look tired in places and needs some TLC. We went into the bar one night which was pretty empty, two barmen on ,not exactly proactive. Brought me a drink and I had to ask him to wipe the table as it was sticky and stained ,then charged me 12 euros for a Gin ,I had one previous evening in a very nice bar near the hotel nothing like as expensive and much better presented. The beds are very uncomfortable and they need to invest in some decent pillows. Overall dont think we will be returning to this hotel.

As mentioned the bathroom should have been cleaned. Nicer toiletries, just a shower gel and one tiny bar of soap is poor for a four star hotel. There wasn't an iron in the room, probably could have asked reception. The main loos in the lobby weren't very modern or that clean looking. More tea and milks in the room as two tea bags and two tiny milk cartons is again poor. Can't change TV programmes back to original language as settings disabled, only Spanish options.

The location of this hotel is probably the best thing about it, we didn't feel it was a four star rating. The room was pretty tired, the air conditioning and fridge barely worked. There were stains on the sofa and our bathroom hadn't been cleaned as there was urine all over the loo. We did point this out to reception and it was cleaned when we went out, but not a very welcoming site. A lot could be done to improve this hotel however I guess they don't need to try very hard as the location is what I imagine would keep people coming back.

Could do a bit more a little bit more choice on the buffet restaurant for breakfast & dinner . Very quiet hotel of an evening if you like that no entertainment but maybe because we was out of season in March .

Great location very helpful staff upgraded us to a Seaview room for a small fee such a nicer room with great views of the beach very comfortable hotel .

It is my humble advice and a strong recommendation to all the hotels that when serving the food, kindly put veg, vegan and non-veg options on different tables. Try to do the same in the kitchen. This reduces the chances of cross-contamination. However, the non-vegetarians have no fucking clue about cross-contamination and they would NOT BOTHER to use different tongs if veg and non-veg items are placed side by side. I have seen this even in 5-star hotels and this puts me off from putting that food item on my plate further REDUCING the food I can have.

When I booked this hotel in Dec 23 for a stay in April 24, I informed them of our dietary restrictions and asked if they could cater to it. I did not get any reply. I was a bit disappointed. On arrival at the hotel, the reception staff brought out a sheet asking for our dietary restrictions and passed on the information to the kitchen staff. When we went for dinner, Chef Elmar was there and went through the food that was suitable for us. The waiting staff, David, Cmi and all others in the restaurant were equally good and were mindful. The dinner menus were different every day and either Chef Elmar or someone would come and go through the food that was suitable for us. They welcomed us and nothing was a bother for them. Chef Elmar went above and beyond and made food for us that was pure vegetarian. Fried chips for us that were in oil which was all new and have had nothing fried in before. He also fried bread pieces for soup in new oil. We do not have food allergies but are pure vegetarians and try our best to avoid any cross-contamination with non-veg food. This was well looked after and cared for at this hotel. A bit of variety in salads would be advised. The location of the hotel is ideal and fantastic. Train from Malaga airport costs 3.20 euros and the walk to the hotel from Los Boliches railway station is only 4 minutes. A lot of shops and restaurants around the hotel if you want to eat out. The stretch of road in front of the hotel is excellent for raking up 10k steps and more. We went to a local street market 10-15 minutes walk from the hotel was excellent with reasonably priced items and room to haggle. Got my wife a medium-sized carry bag made of cork with a beautiful print. The bag is more for vanity rather than for daily use. It was priced at 25 euros. I got it for 10 euros.

Again as an elderly person my hands are not strong, this becomes difficult when trying to hold the hairdryer on as soon as even a small amount of pressure is released off it goes very frustrating

My allotted room had the shower over the bath which as an elderly person was not ideal and Frightened me when I was getting out, but the staff were lovely and found me a room with a walk in shower. The location is perfect.

Air conditioning not operational until April. Had to sleep with the balcony door open, which was a bit noisy.

Brilliant staff. Comfy beds. Lovely sea view. Handy for train, restaurants, shops, etc. Very good breakfast including freshly cooked eggs and omelettes.

Good stay- the main thing was that the staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The reception area is beautiful but our bedroom was a little tired looking. Beds were comfy and it was clean but not quite as luxurious as the reception feels. The pool was great but the shower areas by the pool could do with some updating. Apart from that our stay was very enjoyable!

The lights in the bath room are not practical for razering or beauty tasks. In our rooms there still is an older bath tube, which could be, more fashionable, substituted by a ground shower - easy entrance.

Spacy room with a confortable double size bed. Nice terrace with direct view to the sea. Nice and large lobby bar with, although, outside sitting possibilities. Easily reachable from the train station, in 5 minutes only. 1st row sea and seapromenade.

we had an over bath shower and being elderly would have opted for a shower only

We have stayed here before as it is a modern hotel with an excellent breakfast with plenty of choices. It is near the station and across from the beach and near plenty of bars and restaurants The lady who booked us in was efficient and very helful
