Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceWould like a but more space inside the room as with the baby cot it got crowded, but we spent a lot of time in the terrace because the spring weather helped. Also all the channels on the tv were in Spanish Except one in german
Great location , entrance on las ramblas so it was safe to walk even late at night with the stroller. Soundproof windows, no noise at all even though tones of people were walking outside Extra clean rooms, everyday changing of used towels, making the bed, taking out the trash. Adequate breakfast for a quick bite before you had out. Must mention the tasty and fresh fruit and choice of coffees. We had the room with the terrace which was great because we had a baby with us and he could play around on the floor and also for us to have an extra coffee or drink when he fell asleep in his baby cot provided by the hotel. The bathroom renovated fully with powerful hairdryer and bath products . The mattress new and very comfortable. The tv screen wide. Personnel polite and always helpful, stored our baggage after check out for a couple of hours

United States of AmericaAC was too cold or not enough. Pricey for a bare modernistic room but the location was great. Europe allows smoking, not in the building I assume, but they have a porch off the back we never went to because someone was always smoking out there and the two sets of tables and chairs looked like inexpensive plastic chairs and tables and not comfortable and looked out over the side of the market that is not particularly exciting, it is more like an alley.
Location was fabulous. We could walk down to the market while they were setting up and also Starbucks was right there open if we wanted coffee ASAP. From this location one can walk almost anywhere to sightsee and the shopping is wonderful. The bed was fine but the AC fan was directly over my side of the bed so my husband would be hot if we turned the AC down or I would freeze, so we changed sides but it was too cold for him too. I ended up with a cold on the plane on my way home and I think this AC is what did it to me to be honest. I did my best to try to close it by standing on a chair and also tried to put something over it, but neither worked. Without it on, we would be too hot. There was a little street noise but we use a sound machine and wax earplugs anyhow, so we were fine. We like that there is a safe in the room and their pillows are nice as well. There is no counter space in the bathroom which I don’t like but I did appreciate a magnifying mirror over the sink. We didn’t care for the shower door, the glass one that covers only half the shower but perhaps that is standard in Europe. It leaks on the floor, I don’t get it why these type of shower doors are installed. The staff was helpful but not cheery one bit. They held our luggage in a locked storage room because our cruise put us in Barcelona very early. It was easy to walk around and find things to do and also we were able to get into our luggage or bring bags of things we purchased to be stored in there as well until our room was available. We were in room 306. The front desk helped us get cab rides and each cab was right on time, even the one at 3:00 am to the airport. This hotel location doesn’t display the address to the street so if you book this, tell them you are going to the market, the hotel is about 6’ away and there is room for the cab to stop and let you out without holding up traffic.

PolandThere's nothing to complain on. It was not a problem for me, but for some people the feeling of the metro train passing underground may be a bit uncomfortable.
The stay in Exe hotel was excelent! Very good location, just 100 m from the Liceu Metro station, in the middle of Ramblas, and at the closest neigbourhood of the famous food market. The brightest point of the hotel is the staff - everyone is kind and helpful, they greet the guests with a smile and one can feel heartly welcome. The hotel itself is very comfortable and clean, and although the Ramblas is a very noisy street, the room we had was silent. And the breakfast was very tasty.

United Kingdomit was extremely cold in my room and it felt like the was an air leak. I’ve asked the staff if there is anything they could do and they gave me a blanket, but it didn’t help. I’m sure in summer it won’t be a problem, but in spring it was a major inconvenience
very nice location. the street is a bit loud, but it’s a price you have to pay for being in the heart of Barcelona. staff is very nice
