Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

SwitzerlandDespite perfect weather the rooftop (one of the main reasons to choose this hotel) was closed. I would have appreciated to be able to sit in the sun even if the pool was not operating yet. Please consider adding an hourglass in the sauna.
Very good location with metro station literally across the street, very nice breakfast, nice and comfortable room, a lot of self-care products provided (shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion in big bottles, plus individual shower cap, comb, toothbrush/toothpaste, vanity set, slippers). The staff members were helpful.

United States of AmericaDid not have the rooftop open to at least sit on and enjoy the view. Even though the pool or bar is closed. Was looking forward to at least sit up there and enjoy the view. Breakfast was a bit pricey for what was offered. No Airport shuttle
Friendly and helpful staff. Location: Did have a places nearby to walk to and eat at. Very close to subway and transport. Room was clean, towels very nice.

BelgiumDuring spring, it does not feel like a hotel really... no pool, no bar, no restaurant, a used, not nice looking lounge, Turkish bath closed... Overall, I did not feel the Spanish hospitality... despite some water at the front desk and staff. It felt more like an apartment.
Decent size room (we went for the deluxe) Nice sauna, good selection at breakfast Gym is basic but enough for a day or two... sauna was great (need to ask an hour in advance). Location is great, confortable beds

ItalyThe stairs to arrive to the elevator are challenging if you have a big language; also I am wondering if people with disability can move better
The room was very nice and the breakfast full of different options and local products

NetherlandsA very basic hotel. Even though it was 28 degrees outside, the pool was closed (until June!) - we Northern Europeans come for the Sun to Spain so while I can understand it may be too cold for the locals for us it would have been perfect. And even if you decide to keep your pool closed, maybe you can still open the roof top so we can relax in the sun after a day of sightseeing. Please also note that if you have an SUV, (which we did after we got an upgrade from the car rental) the offered garage is very tight so we opted to park on the street the 2nd night.
Perfect location for a visit to Madrid, Easy to walk to the highlight or you can take the metro right across from the hotel.

TaiwanClean and comfy. A small downside is the weird angle of the tap such that water easily flowed out of the bathroom sink.
Location was very close to metro and bus station, which makes it convenient to travel to nearby cities.

FranceThe configuration of the room is a bit strange: a column in the middle, the shower not separated from the room. The rooftop terrace was closed (not even to see the view).
Close to the center, gran via reachable by bus. The room was nice, with a view on the city. Staff was very welcoming.

DenmarkThe noise during the night but that is not the hotel´s fault. Also the rooms need some "love" (aka maintenance)
The location is perfect. However being that close to the city centre comes with the cost of noise during the nights. In winter it might not be a problem but in summer it might be (if you like to sleep with your windows open)

United KingdomNot sure if this is really a 4 star hotel given the quality of the facilities on offer and as many areas are a bit tired and worn. Roof top looks like it has a great views but it’s only accessible during Summer months.
Check-in was very quick. Rooms are spotlessly clean. View from upper floors and roof top are great. Situated directly opposite Metro station entrance.

The location was excellent for public transport.- Metro station faced the hotel, and the bus station was in close proximity Hotel was reasonable value for ;money; it was modern and clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Excellent location, beds very comfortable, helpful staff. The hotel is literally opposite Moncloa metro station so getting into the centre of the city was very easy. We took a day trip to Segovia which was absolutely gorgeous and caught the bus from Moncloa station also...sooo handy! Would definitely recommend and return some day.
