No adequate soundproofing. The purpose of a hotel room is sleep. When there is loud noise under your window until past midnight, the great food and clean room and low price cannot compensate

It was a long walk up to the place from the nearest parking garage and information on the limited public transport option was non existent

It was a really local place with a great vibe and right at the great of the old town so a perfect place to wander around from. Our deal included dinner and breakfast which were fine but there were lots of other options around as well so there was lack of choice

Getting there by car is quite a feat, as you have to drive along extremely narrow streets. I stopped by the nearby convent to unload luggage and then drove further down the road towards the city exit. However, once you're there you don't need the car as you are right in the centre of Arcos. I can't say much about breakfast since it is served only after 9am and we had to live way earlier.

Right in the city centre, excellent position. Nice terrace and comfortable rooms, with efficient A/C. The room was clean and the staff helpful. For the price, it was an excellent stay!

Hotel very well located, clean rooms, very nice staff, very tasty breakfast. You can park your car in the el paseo car park and use the free shuttle bus. Driving alone in narrow streets requires practice

Breakfast was simple (as was known).

Fantastic location, beautiful view from rooftop terrace, helpfull staff. Unbeatable deal for this price. Small but clean and cute rooms. The drive up by free local bus is a treat in itself. You can park in the parkinggarage at the foot of the hill, the bus passes by every 30 minutes. Parking fee is reduced after having your ticket stamped by the hotel.

The receptionist was quite grumpy when we arrived and the room had no natural light - but neither of these things are a big issue!

Shower pressure was amazing, the place was very clean with towels. Location was amazing, breakfast was included in the price - quite simple (bread with ham/cheese + coffee) but we enjoyed it!

We had a small misadventure at the beginning - we were allocated in the room on the last floor. Wi-fi there wasn't working at all and there was a bunch of earwigs in (otherwise clean) bathroom. We have notified the staff and they changed our room without any problems or hesitation. Our Google navigation got hopelessly lost in Arcos city centre but of course the Pension isn't guilty :)

Perfect location - right in the city centre. Pension is connected with the bar - we did our check-in & check-out there, but also we had a breakfast (included in price) and supper - both meals where fabulous. Room and bathroom was clean and cozy, the wi-fi on the first floor worked perfectly. Staff was really helpful.

We couldn't figure out how to get our car into the old part of town so ended up parking in the lower town and walking 25 min up the hill into the old town where the hostal was located. But once up there we loved it. Would stay there again.

A charming old building with a roof top patio at the very top of Arcos. The bed was comfortable and for a nice surprise the towel set included a face cloth (not a given in Spain). The shower included mega bottles of shampoo and body wash. We ate breakfast downstairs in the pub style restaurant with the owner and several locals who came in. It felt like we were part of a Spanish-speaking Cheers.

Nothing but a kettle to make tea would have been perfect especially as I hit a busy bank holiday.

The comfortable spacious studio, lovely and warm, cleaned every day. It’s in a very quaint place through a locked door into a patio. The bar of the same only round the corner. Friendly staff.

If you have a lot of luggage perhaps minus to walk a bit (although owner might pick it up by car; streets in old town really narrow)

Location in old town so a bit walk from parking places (600 m), but nice, clean, normal room, with access to the roof for some views. In price also breakfast in bar with marmelade, bread and coffee for nicer start of day :)

Perfect location. Rooms have been completely renovated since we last stayed her 7 years ago. The rooms are small but great for a short stay. We would definitely repeat!
