Although everything is clean and serviceable a lot of things would benefit from being replaced as all quite old and worn. Good value for money though.

They never clean the room in one week, the terrace is nice but not manteined.

The position is perfet just 300 meter from Las Canteras beach, las puntillas and all the restaurant. Parque de Santa Catalina ist just 10 min walk so perfect to takes the guaguas and explore the island.

The water pressure in the sink was veeery slow, perhaps the sink faucet needed repair because in the shower water pressure was good. But for us it was not a big deal.

It was a private room in a hostel, so it's good enough to sleep there at night, the beds were comfortable, and the room was clean and quiet. During the day we usually were not in the room. The hostel has a nice terrace - from it we could see the main New Year fireworks and also some from the neighboring rooftops, it was a spectacular view (for some strange reason, we were the only people there, so we had a VIP terrace for a New Year celebration). Also the hostel located close to some shops and restaurants, and it's a 5-6 minutes walk to the beach. In the common area there was a shared fridge, a kettle and a microwave, but there was lack of dishes and spoons\forks\knifes. The water pressure in shower was good. Anyway, for Christmas+NewYear period this hostel offered a great deal so we enjoyed our stay.

Impossible to lock the bathroom window. Maybe this was not really a problem as the window gave access to a patio and not the street, but this could be easily fixed.

The area for preparing food was a bit basic.

The location is excellent. It's an old building a lot of the buildings in the city are quite old so do not have the high standards of a new hotel. However it was very clean and professionally run.

Walls were made of paper, very very noisy room. In the first floor where the reception is located, all the night long you could here people going in and out, and conversations in that corridor or in the reception, plus the receptionist playing videos in his phone. There was some guy playing Youtube videos or tv in his room and the sound was running all the way through the internal patio. The joins of curtain of the shower were full of rust. All the material, furniture of the room was very old. Towels were broken and never changed since 1497.

A little bit far from the town center, but the interesting thing in Las palmas is Las canteras beach, so the location was good. Hostel staff was nice. The bed was confortable.

I booked it as it stated Non Smoking,But due to no alarms in the rooms people were Smoking in the rooms. As Proof there were Cigarrete burns in the Bedding. The windows opened into a 3mtr tunnel so all the smoke floated up into my room.I have Asthma and Alergic Rhinitis so I had a Headache every Morning due to the Smoke. It stated a shared Kitchen but was only a microwave and fridge in the foya There were couches nd a table but notice saying not to eat at the table. you had to take your food up to your room It stated to be Quiet after 10 but there was a Spanish family taking up 6 rooms and most of them were in the next room to me with the Tv full blast and talking very loud till gone12 at night and sounded like the kids were playing football against the walls It stated it had a Lift but didn't mention the 2&1/2 flights up to the first floor.I use a Walking frame and carry my bags on it.So stairs are a Problem.

The location to the Beach was good so thats why l booked

I've stayed at this place before. It's best overall cheapest option... I would recommend staying on the higher floors as it's a bit noisy on the lower ones. I stayed on the 4th floor but stayed an extra 2 nights and had to move to a different room on the 2nd floor. The staff are really nice!

Very small room , lamps and tv cables wasn’t safe, wardrobe don’t have any door, bathroom door don’t close, , any privacy to use a bathroom,bathroom door babe a cut whole. Everything look very old and damages .Kitchen It was only kettle, fridge and microwave with a few spoons.Very poor place
