Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It's just good
Great place to stay while traveling. Very friendly people, good restaurant, nice room with a view and a balcony and in the morning a nice special made breakfast.

The bedrooms could probably do with an update.
It’s a good halfway point between our holiday home and France where our family live. Great to be able to walk our dog from the hotel. Evening meal and breakfast, on a scale of one to ten (7)

The pillows in the room were very stiff and uncomfortable.
We drove there from <barcelona to eat lunch in the restaurant and stayed overnight to lighten the driving in one day. The food and attention are fabulous and reasonably priced for its high quality.

on checking out, the receptionist said we had taken breakfast. We hadn’t. It was only after paying the bill and reading it a couple of days later that we noticed they had charged us 44 euros for a bottle of wine we hadn’t ordered! The hotel admitted their mistake and refunded. A word to the wise, check your bill before leaving.
nice welcome from receptionist. Easy access from the motorway en route to Vera. Had dinner in the restaurant. Didn’t take breakfast. Alas our stay was marred when presented with the bill.

Says its a 4 star but the actual bedroom and its facilities are disappointing. Window shutters that make dreadful noise opening and closing, don’t close properly and come open in the wind and bang on the wall. Strange patchwork wood floor panels and there is also as no in room hot drink provision (coffee machine or kettle)
I liked the property, it had a nice feeling but it was a weird one as they made efforts to refurbish but its a mix of old and new and some things not done well like the bathroom with no wall tiles and missing sealant in bath / shower causing water over the floor. The staff were great, the lovely lady on reception deserves a ten just for herself, the breakfast was really good , food so fresh and beautifully presented and cooked. The lady in the breakfast room was also very good at her job and lovely and friendly. Cannot comment on restaurant as my wife not well when we arrived due to the long journey and we did not eat. My wife loved the jacuzzi bath.

We only stayed for a night, in our long driving trip. Was a good place to crash before we went on our way. Cannot say much about location and facilities, we appreciated that it was pet friendly and it has a big parking. There is also a restaurant, and breakfast available, and also a 24h front desk - allowed us to leave very early morning.

The lift was being replaced and the staff lift could do with a replacement as well!
Our second stay on our way back from Andalusia to France, complete with two dogs. The staff is welcoming and the facilities are good. Tasty food as well. Definitely recommended.

Great location for travellers passing by on the main motorway to Barcelona. Very friendly and helpful staff. Pet friendly. Rooms air conditioned and appear to all have balconies. Restaurant served local and international cuisine to a high standard.

The new (memory foam?) mattresses didn't suit me personally, and a light blanket of some sort would have been welcome. Needed instructions for the spa bath!
Described as a motel - but that doesn't do it justice. Easy access from the motorway and good private parking. Short walk to town centre with restaurants, bars and the Dali museum Charming staff Loved the original retro styling. Fabulous breakfast

Unfortunately the guest lift was out of order, so we had to use the service lift which was also necessary for staff use. Other than that, no complaints at all.
Large clean room. Good to have a fridge. Great breakfast. Very good choice; you could select three dishes from the menu in addition to coffee and fruit juice. More than adequate - not sure why some have given negative reviews. Very personable waitress Maryam served us with friendly professionalism.

While there was a small fridge and water in the room it would have been good to be able to boil water for tea or coffee.
Nice room with balcony.. it was very pleasant having a wine on the terrace in the evening. Great to have free parking.
