Each review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The bathroom smelled of urine, so we had to keep the door shut and open the window at times. Unfortunately, the hotel is near a hospital as ambulances were loud on a regular basis. So, we couldn't leave the window open the window for long.
Room was comfortable, and the staff was very helpful

Rooms are really very basic - not worth more than €150 per night for this location. Parking is €10 extra per 24hrs. Honestly overall really not worth more than the above for what’s on offer.

Clean & comfortable the two main concerns!! Smashing location too. The staff were absolutely top draw & the breakfast was great. Definitely return to Bilbao & the Ibis will be my first choice!! We’ll done!! Tim

Great location, close to the citi center, clean, cosy and quiet rooms, drink water available on each floor and at the reception, nice staff, delicious breakfast with great choice. Small fridge and an electric kettle in the room would be a nice plus.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean, and the breakfast was good. However, I would prefer to have disposable slippers and a minibar in the rooms.

Excellent hotel in the heart of Bilbao. I was very impressed with the staff at reception , I arrived early to the hotel around 12pm, they were very kind and gave me the room immediately Friendly staff throughout Great room and great value for money

First too days was not pleasant smell from shower, which was disappearing after taking shower. But any way everything in the room and in bathroom was very clean.
Helpful and friendly staff, perfect location, very clean, good choose for breakfast.

Although the window was big, offering great panoramic view, the view itself was depressing. Our room was faced to the interior of the quartier... a grey, dismal set of flats. To improve... maybe a nice graffiti wall would be a good idea. There was a blinking light in the fire alarm sensor attached to the ceiling. Not good if you are having difficulties trying to sleep looking at the ceiling. The bathrooms are somewhat really small, I could barely move freely. I'm not very tall or large... I found there was also a lack of power sockets.
The room was clean and confortable. The baby bed provided was functional and clean and set beforehand as we requested. Clean bathroom, functional, practical. Good light overall provided by big panoramic window. Nice, available, safe and affordable parking spots in garage. Good access through the elevator. And good location, pretty central.

I have been to several Inis across Europe and generally I prefer them as hotels are getting crazily expensive. This one felt that could be more clean in terms of towels and room cleanliness. Also I truly don’t like the soaps offered.
Convenient and safe location. The breakfast was great with many options. I also liked the water refilling that was offered.

The room is very small with very unpractical chances for placing a bag or items one used regularly if the collapsible bed is in use. Hard to put away a suitcase, but they do have a place just like unpractical. Cleaning is just acceptable. We did not have any soap in the shower.
Super friendly staff. Well located. Good breakfast.
