I had lunch in the restaurant which was very good. Breakfast was basic but also good. My room was fine with few frills. Car parking very good.

The room is a little sparse.

The location is an ideal stop for breaking the journey from Bilbao/Santander to the Costa Blanca. The breakfast is excellent value.

This is not a negative on the property but whatever you may read on booking sites be aware that this property does NOT allow pets.

Great location for a stopover on our way back to the UK from Malaga. Hotel is clean and has recently been renovated to a good standard.

Basic and nothing to look at from the outside, but clean and good value, convenient for a stopover on route to our destination. Perhaps belying its appearance, the adjoining restaurant was excellent.

Dining time too late in the evening. No duvet, just sheet and cover.

Reception staff were polite and professional. I requested secure parking, no extra cost, around the side of the hotel. It's not under cover but the gate is locked at night. Allocated room 119. Although a roadside hotel, this is an oasis with no road noise. Plenty of walking areas for our dogs. The room was basic but clean. I prefer a duvet but it was sheet and bed cover. The room was well heated for us, it was a chilly January day. We arrived on the Spanish Epiphany holiday so the restaurant was busy all afternoon with special bookings. We had beers outside under a patio heater. Didn't eat at the hotel as other reviews said the restaurant didn't open until 9pm. We ate before we arrived. Good shower and all toiletries provided. Bed was comfortable. Left before breakfast time but the kind man happily served me coffee and takeaway cake for our travels. Would stay again.

Although the restaurant food was very good it was expensive for both food and drinks. The fact that evening service for food did not start until 9pm was fine for us but it is late for some, particularly families. However there is no other choice unless you want to drive into San Agustin itself

Location was excellent particularly as driving north to Santander. Very traditional Spanish rural hotel with nice, clean rooms and good bathroom with walk in shower. We had read other reviews complaining about the road noise but we didn't find it a problem.

The staff person on the following day wasn’t helpful at all .. didn’t greet, didn’t open the door .. even seeing the guest having walking difficulties.. The dinner time at the restaurant is too late for traveling guests

The only problem was finding the hotel from the motorway, the instructions were a little confusing, a sign from the small roundabout after the turnoff from the motorway would have been helpful.

the staff were friendly, and the hotel had a menu which we were able to order one meal between us to share, as we were quite tired after 600km driving. The tv in our room didnt work and it was no problem for us to change rooms to one with a working tv.
