United KingdomThey don't keep request rooms. I've booked a self kettering flat and requested 1st floor ( flat on top) but all was taken when I've arrived and they move us to one flat on ground floor. At least they had charged less.
Nice location, excellent staff, very clean, quiet and comfortable. We've been at Koala more than 5 times. We really like there. Nice neighbourhood, easy access to many places. 30min walking to Meloneras beach. We love exercise, so its a perfect place.

United KingdomAs an adult married couple we’re used to a double bed, here we had two singles which were pushed together but with the slightest movement would push apart so you could find yourself falling out of bed and getting squashed in between the two beds, so not very good. There’s no actual oven in the property which of course we’re used to at home, and with the rise in the use of air fryers this would be an excellent addition for the kitchens and of course would instantly broaden the horizons in what you could cook. A barbecue we enjoy too but there’s no facility for this either. We stayed for three weeks so it would’ve made all the difference to have a bit more versatility in cooking means.
We’ve stayed here before but last time in the all inclusive part, this isn’t all inclusive (although you can pay extra if you wish to go in the all inclusive) and we found it much quieter, which is what we wanted. Our apartment was on the ground floor and lead on to a private patio which had a table and chairs, and then on to the poolside area where there were sun loungers to lie on. So certainly everything you need if you like relaxing by the pool. The apartments are very well maintained and are serviced five days per week. They are perfectly located for the local mini supermarket, fast food takeaway and the Holiday World centre. There’s a taxi rank right outside the main entrance and it’s a two minute walk for the free bus that operates daily to Maspalomas, and a five minute walk for all other buses that’ll take you all over the island

Germanyfor me the mattress was too hard and uncomfortable but I have a pain condition , I asked the property upfront and didn’t get the right answer to this and had to wait a long time for it :( I wish booking.com had a mattress selection. I was lucky to be able to take the softer mattress of the sofa on the bed so it was less painful to sleep. it would be nice if hotels would take questions related to mattresses a bit more serious.. the flats are also a bit noisy so depends on your neighbors. I was lucky to only have one night of drunk people entering, waking me up. the other days were smooth. the pressure on the hot water in the shower is very low. but for me the pool and view just made up for all of it.
omg, the pool was amazing, warm enough to swim and if you take a ground floor flat you can just step out of your door in the garden to the pool, it’s so lovely. bathroom was nice, and kitchen and little living room as well, got a vault for free as well, I like the location cause it’s a bit further from everything which was more peaceful. little spar supermarket around the corner for groceries. super friendly cleaning staff, very clean..

United KingdomThe noise!! There must have been a football tournament happening and all the children were staying in the same apartments, so in the pool and making loads of noise until 2am. Banging on our door shouting and pressing the bell at 11pm. Not cool. Also 7 of our party got a stomach bug over the week. Thought it was from the plane but then heard that other guests also had a stomach bug

United KingdomPhotos didn't match the room and was advertised as the hotel and not the apartments. Unable to use the gym as we were self catering, which is one of the reasons we chose this place. Rooms were supposed to be cleaned everyday but Thursdays. This was not the case, when they were cleaned, only the beds where made and towels changed. Floor was never swept/mopped once during our stay, nor where sides wiped down. Beds uncomfortable due to being on wheels and moved even with the breaks on.
Free use of safe, large TV with many channels including netflix. Large rooms.

United KingdomWe were put in zone 5 which was entirely separated from the other zones. Zone 5 was predominately self catering, did not cater for all inclusive guests and indeed did allow for the all inclusive drinks to be brought into the zone. There was some confusion amongst the staff as we were originally advised that we could take drinks from the other zones into our zone five. The restaurant owner in zone 5 complained to us about our bringing in all inclusive drinks, contrary to the advice from the main reception and this caused some discomfort. Additionally the self catering guests at zone 5 were able to bring drinks from the local shop and were not expected to use the pool bar / restaurant. There wasn’t always a lifeguard at the pool area and the security guard at the gate was intermittent.
We liked the quietness of the pool in zone 5, the apartment generally, the accommodation and pool area was always clean, the food and drinks were good.
