-the hostel is located on the 4th floor and although there is an elevator, it stops between floors, I traveled with an elderly person and this inconvenience was felt, -we occupied a room with 2 twin beds overlooking the main pedestrian street, I didn't like the unusable balcony occupied by the external AC and ventilation unit on several rooms that started at night. Overall, we didn't really have a place to dry the towels used in the bathroom. -from the street level you no longer have internet, I tried to order Uber from the street and I couldn't, I had to go back up

-excellent location -a bit noisy but we got earplugs at the accommodation -super friendly staff -good wifi in the room -no problem with cleaning -old building from 1816 -walking distance to Prado and Thyssen Museum -many restaurants and fast foods nearby, but also minimarkets with normal prices

The rooms weren't super spacious, but for us that wasn't a real problem. The only downside in our opinion is that it was noisy. A few mornings we slept in since we went out to party, but we would be waking up early since we heard people talking in the corridor all the time. For us this did not outweigh the advantages.

The owner of the hostal was very friendly and the location is amazing! It's just very close to everything (incl. metro), Malasaña itself is nice and you're surrounded by shops the minute you walk out. The room was clean and there was shower gel, a hairdryer and a safe. If you want to, they can clean your room every day.

the place is just 2 minutes from Gran Vía, near the metro station, and the city center. the staff is so nice and at at disposal for any request. the room was clean and equipped with all the first necessities. if we will be back in Madrid definitely we will be back here.☺️👍🏻

To be fair all was good but maybe to have one double bed.

The location is perfect. Just in Fuencarral street but you don't hear a thing. The room had a good size. Very clean. The staff were very nice and also very friendly. The Hostal has elevator. All was great. Change of towels everyday and cleaning as well.

The location was really good as you can reach everything so fast just walking. It was very clean and the stuff was super polite. Comparing quality-price I think it was worthy but obviously it's not that spacious or there weren't any slippers so at the moment you needed to use the bathroom was a bit uncomfortable wearing your shoes. But the statement over there was really nice so I definetely would recommend it.

Although you can't hear the noise from the street, the walls are very thin, so you can hear the neighbors. There was a strong smell of cigarette smoke in the room. After we mentioned it, the lady immediately put an ozone air purifier in our room which helped.

The check-in/out was easy. The lady who welcomed us is very nice and helpful. The location is great, close to metro stations. The room is very clean, the bed is comfortable. In the room there is a wardrobe, a small cabinet, AC, TV and two glasses. The bathroom is equipped with soap, shampoo, small and big towels and a floor mat. The hostel is located in the Malasaña district, which is the center of the lively nightlife. The area is full of good bares, restaurants and shops. A very good point is that we received 2 pairs of good quality earplugs.

Very loud during the night. No dining areas, only small room with private bathroom.

Very central location, basically in Gran Vía (main street), for those who like staying in the city center. Close to all sights, metro station, shopping and dining places. Comfortable beds, private bathroom with a shower, towels, hairdryer, small wardrobe and additional bankets. Nice people at the reception. They allowed us to leave our luggage until check-in time. Also, you can get your room cleaned when requested.

WiFi was a little slow. Fuencarral street is a little busy.

The location is close to the Metro (subway). Comfortable and clean room. A balcony to check the street is lovely. The bathroom was clean and proper. The woman who received us was super friendly and we felt welcomed and definitely improved our stay. The AC worked perfectly. (the weather was hot in the city) Thank you.

AC in one of the 2 rooms we booked didn’t work well but not unbearable. Check in is really confusing. I was told to call a number on arrival, but no one answered after multiple attempts. There is a sign on the left side of the door with what looks like a buzzer. It didn’t seem to work. You have to use the buzzer on the right side. Once in the building, the rooms/check in are on the 4th floor but there aren’t any signs to tell you this. The hallways are very dark. No lights at all. So be prepared to use your phone flashlight at night.

Friendly staff. Allowed us to keep our luggage there after check out for a couple of hours. Good location.

the only problem you will have with a too very small bathroom If you are taller than 1.80 it is very problematic to use the toilet.

the accommodation is in an exceptional location along the main street in Maarid. The hosts are very friendly.
