The only negative about my stay was in the "value for money" category. While I loved the hotel, it was very expensive for a relatively small room. And they insisted on charging my credit card for one night a whole month before my arrival. Maybe the positive reviews in the Rick Steves guidebook have gone to their heads. While I might stay in the town again, I would look more carefully at alternative hotels that might be less expensive.

The location was fantastic, with views of the town and harbor from the breakfast room and all guest rooms on the front side. These front rooms had angled balconies (2 chairs an a table) that provided some privacy and oblique views of the water and town. We had an end room closest to water, so we had views and natural light on 2 sides. Hotel was a 5-minute scenic walk from the town, 30-minute walk to Dali House at Port Lligat. The hotel restaurant-bar (again with a nice view) had both indoor and outdoor seating, with a good buffet breakfast and tapas available in the afternoon. We ate dinner in town, so no comments on food served at supper. We used the covered parking for 15-20 Euros (a bit expensive). Minimal on-street parking available and free. I saw previous bad reviews of the pool behind the hotel. I thought the pool was clean and beautiful, but I did not swim, so I did not notice if the hotel provided any towels up there.

the coffee …….. press button self serve coffee machine at breakfast. Awful ! After a month of travelling around Spain , this was the worst coffee of trip……. absolutely no excuses for poor coffee in Spain!! it also advertised an outdoor swimming pool which was unavailable, no indication in booking info that it was seasonal.

location, with its own beach. Sea View room with terrace, being able to watch the sun coming up from our bed. Cadaques is a beautiful town but mad busy, hotel located 5 minutes walk from the centre, quiet and relaxed.

Minor but hotels should have a waste can in main room

Most staff very welcoming and friendly, but not all. Pool shower not working. An outdoor shower when coming from sea to terrace would be helpful.

Quiet corner of Cadaques. Excellent location for beach and town. Lovely pool and terrace. Comfortable clean rooms. Lovely view of garden and hill.

Rooms were rather small, although we had a sea facing room with a balcony where we enjoyed sitting in the evenings. Shower area was also not very well designed, with the glass only partially covering the cubicle, resulting in water flowing into the bathroom floor.

Great location by a little beach, in a quieter end of the bay. Lovely front office staff who were very helpful and cheerful. Good breakfast spread with both hot and cold items including fruits, amazing freshly squeezed orange juice. Really liked the deck chairs on the patio, looking out into the bay.

It would have been nice if there were more geraniums,bourgainvillea and plumbago etc. The outside of the hotel slightly lacked colour and charm

No kettle in the room. Car parking was a bit hit and miss, but the roadside worked for us on our midweek stay.
