Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.

Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

United KingdomI got a budget double room which was exactly what it sounds like- it was good but not the most comfortable. My room was also in a separate building down a side street a minute from the main hotel, which at first I wasn't keen on but actually it was probably a bit quieter which I don't mind. Bed was not that comfortable but slept ok- pillows were not great quality and there was a plastic cover on the mattress which rustled. Air conditioning in room is also more like a fan and not true ac, so I imagine it can get fairly hot in high summer. Towels were a little tired and it felt like the room was a little dusty so perhaps it hadn't been occupied for a while in the off season- daily room cleaning was good though.
Fantastic location to the west of the port- this is the quieter, less touristy end and in my opinion it has the nicest of the beaches in front of the hotel. It's a 10/15 minute walk to most of the restaurants/ shops but very easy. There seems to be a lot of facilities available within the hotel e.g. spa and swimming pool but I didn't use them whilst I was there. Staff generally seemed very helpful. Lots on offer at the included breakfast buffet and you can sit outside looking onto the beach if there's space in the morning whilst you eat. Room was a good size with obscured mountain view. Bathroom was clean and had a good shower/ hot water. Lots of wardrobe space, a table and chairs, dressing table and fridge. I thought it was great value for money for such a good location and it was perfect for what I was looking for- a fuss-free base for going to the beach, but if I wanted a nicer experience I would definitely upgrade my room.

United KingdomThere was nothing we weren't really happy with. Only slight niggle is that when we asked about the bus to Deia being suspended the staff weren't aware that the service was about to restart (the next day). they displayed the timetable - but a big sign saying something like 'BUS SERVICE TO DEIA STARTING UP AGAIN ON 13TH APRIL' would have been really helpful for us! The sound insulation between the apartments isn't great - but no noisy parties to keep us awake!
Excellent breakfast, spacious and well-appointed room. Staff very friendly and helpful. Reasonable sized pool and lovely sun-bathing deck with plenty of beds - felt quite private as at back of hotel looking up towards the mountains. Good location, close to tram stop (not the main start point so you have to flag tram down). Lovely walk along promenade and easily accessible longer walks - both directly from hotel and using local buses to reach good starting points. Plenty of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc.

United KingdomIt would have been even better with tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Some rooms are in a separate building around the corner from the main entrance, so depending on the type of room you book, you may be a distance away as we were. This was not a problem for us in the end, and the staff contacted me just before our visit to alert me to the situation, but it is worth bearing in mind when booking.
Hotel Marina is a lovely hotel in a great location on the front promenade by the Playa d'en Repic. The views across Port de Soller bay are stunning. The staff could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Even though it was not possible to give us two rooms that were close together, they provided my 83 year old mother-in-law with a ground floor room and accommodated our request for a late checkout. The breakfast is superb, and being able to eat it on the terrace outside the front of the hotel overlooking the marina and bay made it even better! There are daily special offers at the spa, and a small outdoor pool and inner terrace area too.

United KingdomBreakfasts were good with a good choice but coffee and tea not great. Also would have benefitted by having hot plates for hot food.
Location excellent, right in front of the bay and beach. Plenty of free parking. Good size room and very clean. Very helpful staff on the hotel reception and always smiling. Restaurant had plenty of space and was nicely decorated and clean. Outside facilities for drinks and breakfast was really nice. Would return.

NorwayThat's only a tiny tiny thing :-) There is a small stove, with two plates, in the kitchen. The frying pan and the casserole were just a little bit to big to fit both at the same time. So we could not boil the pasta and fry the meat at the same time. This should be very easy to fix. Also, I'd personally prefer a simple expresso maker to the coffe machine, But these are but minor details.
The room var so new and so clean. The mountain view was stunning, so glad we had that side, lots of sun on the balcony. The pool area is much nicer than it seems in the pictures. One particular thing I really liked was all he suface ehate we could place our things - there were long beches along one wall in both rooms, it is so practical and helps against the cluttering that can easit be a problem in hotel rooms. The room (a one bedroom apartment) was just perfect.

SwitzerlandThe walls were a bit thin / not insulated. You could sometimes hear people in the next room. Also, what about TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS in the hallway - and in front of the hotel to conserve energy?? You could easily install sensors on the lights. ✌️
The rooms were simple but very clean, tastefully decorated and comfortable. The view out the window was spectacular. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent. The breakfast buffet was great.

Czech RepublicThere are some details that I do not really understand well. When booking via booking.com we got many automated messages regarding the check in, check out etc. The links were removed (probably by booking.com for security reasons), so the added value of all this messages is very low (if not annoying). The WiFi in the hotel requires a lot of personal data, not sure why as the hotel has all info about you anyway. This might be for legal coverage of spamming you, but this can be easily asked at check in anyway. In any case the WiFi system is not linked to other systems, so you can just enter anything including any room number (to overcome the 2 devices per room rule if it's really enforced - not sure). The Wellness does not allow kids to enter (!!!) and is anyway useless due to its opening hours. Generally the hotel is definitely not family/kids friendly, but this is mainly because of the typical clients, not necessarily because of the hotel itself. And this might change during the high reason.
We booked a studio with the kitchen corner. The room was really nice, clean and convenient. We did not really need the kitchen corner, but cooker, coffee machine and electric cattle is there, also with some basic cutlery. The beds were very comfortable. We found enough of electric sockets in the room and there was a reliable Internet connection as well. The breakfast was really excellent so no wonder the restaurant was quite busy. The location is very convenient just on the beach road, not far from the bus stop and just next to the tourist tram stop. We enjoyed our stay here.

Germany"Marina Hotel in Soller is a true gem nestled by the sea. The rooms are bright and welcoming, meticulously clean, and offer stunning sea views. The hotel’s prime location right on the beach allows guests to enjoy the sun, sand, and clear waters just steps away from their rooms. Parking is conveniently located behind the hotel, making it easy for guests arriving by car. The breakfast buffet is extensive, offering a wide variety of both hot and cold dishes to cater to every palate, including options for vegetarians. For cycling enthusiasts, the hotel provides a bicycle room, and the surrounding area offers fantastic opportunities for mountain tours. The beach is exceptionally clean, with crystal clear waters perfect for a refreshing swim. The palm-lined promenade adds to the charm of the location. The hotel also features a lovely café, where you can always enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while gazing out at the sea. In summary, Marina Hotel in Soller provides a delightful stay with its excellent amenities, beautiful location, and attentive service."The staff is great.

BelgiumHowever, it's important not to be misled by the overly high scores in other reviews. The facilities are showing signs of wear and tear, and it's evident that a renovation is overdue. The television in my room was literally held together with tape, and the shower not only provided minimal water but was also challenging to regulate. On top of that, there was no electricity upon entering my room, which turned out to be a blown fuse. The safe in the room was non-functional, adding a bit of inconvenience to the stay. In conclusion, while the natural beauty and staff's warmth make this place special, improvements in infrastructure and amenities are crucial for a more comfortable and enjoyable stay.
I recently stayed at this hotel and must say, the location and view were absolutely breathtaking. The sound of the sea added a serene touch to the ambiance, and the staff were genuinely friendly and enthusiastic.

HungaryNot much to say, maybe that the sealing on the windows in the room were loose so when the wind was blowing, it was a bit annyoying.
The location is really great, just right in front of the sea and the beach. The breakfast was one of the best in this category with a huge variety of freshy made food, There's also plenty of space to sit inside and watch the harbour or sit outside. Everything is within walking distance so we only needed the car to get there. Parking space was plenty as well, though it was off-season. The staff was really friendly and helpful so hard to complain.

NorwayThe coffee from the machine in the breakfast room was not good. The bathroom in my room was a tight squeeze and could do with a refresh.
This was my 4th stay at Hotel Marina. Like most hotels in Puerto de Soller it has a very good location. All the staff members were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet has a great selection of fresh bread and toppings. I did not try the dinner buffet myself, but it looked like other guest at the hotel very much enjoyed it.
