Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United States of AmericaAs mentioned, the room was tiny and therefore not very comfortable. There was only one chair for two people and no desk, just a small narrow table along the wall. The sink drain was clogged and the room had very poor lighting. Overall our stay wasn’t the best but it was fine for one night.
Location and price were the best things about this hotel. It’s just steps from the beach. Our room was tiny with very little space to move around, but the bed was comfortable and the shower stall was very large. The shower also had good pressure and lots of hot water. Our room was quiet and the wifi worked well. It was easy to park in a nearby garage at the hotel’s reasonable 10 Euro rate. Agata was very friendly and welcoming at check-in.

CyprusThe bed in the Single room was very narrow and the mattress was too hard for my taste. Also there was an incident on the day of check out that was frustrating. I forgot my charger in the room and I only realized after I checked-in in Marbella. I was calling the reception for several hours in the afternoon and they wouldn't pick up. They apologized afterwards.
Amazing location on the beachfront of Estepona, right in the center. The road in front of the hotel is no longer open to cars and buses. Only the supply tracks and police cars can enter, which makes the place very quiet, especially if you have a room at the back. Everything is within walking distance. Also not far from the bus stop from which you can take the bus to Marbella and Puerto Banus. The historic center of Estepona is situated right behind the hotel and city's shopping street are just a few minutes away. The hotel and room were very clean and partially renovated. The room had a large window which allowed a lot of light to enter and it also had shutters that could block the light entirely. There is a small lounge area on the ground floor which accommodates a coffee machine and tea station. The coffee capsules you can buy from the reception for a reasonable price and tea is free. There is also a vending machine for soft drinks, beer and chocolate. The reception is 24hrs. Overall recommended for any type of stay.

United KingdomIf the hotel’s own parking spaces are fully booked, it’s not so easy to find alternative parking through the narrow streets of the old town. But a good option is free parking in the streets around the Orchidarium. It’s to the north of the hotel and about a 10 minute walk away.
A central, beachfront location with everything you require - shops, restaurants, bars - in close proximity and the famous Plaza de las Flores just a few minutes away. The hotel whilst quite basic was immaculately clean and well serviced by friendly staff. Definitely a good choice when visiting Estepona.

IrelandI’m being picky but rooms are a tad on the small size, but still great value
Fantastic location on the sea front with estepona old town behind you. Great Seaview rooms on 20 of the rooms that get the sun most of the day. Underground parking just opposite the hotel for 10€ per night. Great price.

United KingdomYou have to plough through building works to get into the hotel,I was told I could enter by Calle Real but that has stopped for some reason!? All the dust and grit is off-putting! Had trouble putting heating on,it's a very old system and the controls tiny and difficult to see, when I spoke to the late shift receptionist she was impatient with my basic Spanish, not the friendliest woman in town!
Nice view from top floor back room, plenty of space, comfy bed

SpainShame about the work going on outside, but that will be completed soon. But it is necessary for the resort, but it didn't detract from our stay
The location was excellent, with all the bars and restaurants available on the doorstep. Beautiful views from our room at sunrise were exceptional

SpainIt's basic and the double bed is very small. No drinks facility in room but tea and coffee available from a machine downstairs.
Seafront location was excellent, and the beautiful old town is a 2 minute walk. Basic room, but very clean with a big walk-in shower. We did not have a sea view room, so we really had no view at all, but that didn't worry us. I would imagine the sea view rooms are nicer and probably worth a bit extra.
