Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1–10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We're currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate "subscores" in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United KingdomI had nothing to call poor at theis hotel.
The breakfast had a good mix of hot and cold selections and the staff attentive. As regards the bar in the evening which I did not see being used by many guest during my stay but I was very impressed by the lady who was serving eveyone during our stay. She was very attentive and always went the extra mile to help her customers. I would say the reception staff need her energy to make the first impression a good one for gusets.

SerbiaThe neighborhood is fine, but it's not the city center. You have to walk around 30 minutes to get to the beach or to the City of Art and Science area, and you definitely need to take public transport to get to the city center
The room used to be nice and well-equipped, but it's old now and needs to be renovated

FranceLocation is a bit far away for mains spots, but easy to move in Valencia. Staff not really helpful with an initial problem in the booking dates, although they were nice once in place. Better to forget the breakfast buffet at 15€ and go to the cafe at the corner with nice breakfast for 4€
Calm hotel, well equipped rooms, very clean rooms.

QatarBasically no toiletries (except soap/shampoo) and no slippers provided. Room was turned to the inner part of the hotel and there was no view and no natural light at all. Acoustic isolation not the best and you can hear people and or staff in other rooms/corridors.
NH Ciudad the Valencia is a good hotel. It shows a bit signs of age, but it's not bad at all. Room had a good size for a couple. Bathroom was ok and shower worked well. Room was cleaned daily, but towels and bed sheets/linens were never changed for the 3 days of our stay. The neighborhood where the hotel is located is not pretty and has nothing really attractive, but it's convenient to explore different areas of the city. Ayora metro station is just 10min walk and the beach and city of arts and sciences are just 20min walk. Breakfast buffet was good and had a good variety of dishes, including local stuff.

RomaniaNothing to say here! We went to Valencia to have a good time and that's exactly what we had!:)
Good location, close to the metro and also to several bus stations. Breakfast was excellent, plenty of energy for someone eager to discover Valencia on foot!:) Very helpful staff, always there if you have a question or a request. We arrived in town early in the day and left very late in the evening, but is was no problem to leave our luggage at the hotel before check-in and after check-out, respectively.

SpainThe bed. I’m from the USA and when we book a room for one person we expect and get a double bed. In the case of this hotel I got a twin (single) bed. The bed was too short for me.
Location is good and a short walk to the metro.

Franceif your room is located at the inside of the hotel in lower floor, there is the feeling not to see the daylight during the day.
The breakfast is great! we really appreciated it. The room is comfortable. And the staff isvery nice. Also the location is great: it is easy to reach the city center with public transportation or walking, or to go to the sea side.

GermanyThe room's cleanliness could be better, and the organization of the bathroom should also be improved slightly as it can be dangerous for some people (you have to do some gymnastics to get out after a shower because of the weird location of the bidet). we also got stuck in the elevator, so maybe the elevators need to be evaluated more often.
The location was great, the city center easily accessible by public transport and easy to access it from the airport. Very good sonic isolation although the hotel is situated on a busy street, we heard nothing from the outside traffic. The price was great for the duration of the trip and compared to other offers. Although the room's furniture is somewhat old, it was very comfortable and the bed was absolutely great. although we got stuck in an elevator, the response from the staff was great, and we were out in a few minutes after pressing the alarm button and communicating with the dispatch.

Russiathe room's window was looking into the small inner yard, and loud conversations from other rooms echoed the yards' walls at late evening
The staff was friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good, and valuable for money paid. The bedroom was separated by the door from the hallway and the bathroom, and it could help to weaken the noise coming from the guests using the stairs at late evenings. the hotel's location is walking distance away from the nearest metro station.
