Some areas could use an update and our toilet was not fully attached to floor.

The property was very clean. The location was amazing and close to las Ramblas, a main square, and the Cathedral. So much was walkable! Great food options on our street. Our room faced the street with a little balcony and was fun for people-watching!

Our room had very small window to internal yard, balcony would be nicer or a better view. A bit strange that bathroom is separated with semitransparent glass wall- so only for sharing with not shy people.

We preferred a queen or double bed but were given single beds. The hotel was noisy. The people in the next room slammed their door and talked loudly in the hall and someone in the room above us was dropping things and it sounded like they were moving furniture.

I was travelling with my partner on somewhat of a honeymoon. We arrived to find that we had been allocated two single beds (Twin Room) despite booking a double room. We were told that it was clear on the booking that the hotel does not guarantee room type. If you request a double room and end up in two single beds when you are on your honeymoon and think that is an acceptable scenario from a hotel perspective then you clearly don't get it. You would certainly expect that the hotel would inform you as part of the booking process what type of room you have been allocated so you can make an informed decision about whether you wish to continue with the booking. That is what good service looks like. We were moved to a double room after the first night but the damage had still been done. However, the location was fantastic which certainly went along way to improving how I felt after the first day in a single bed.

The location could not be better right on the Le Ramblas. Nice hotel in great spot in close proximity to train, tour bus, shopping, markets, all major attractions

We booked the only type of room that way available and felt like it was too small for us. It was around 13-15 sq.meters. Next time we would prefer to take a bigger room.

The location is just perfect. The building itself is gorgeous. The room was always clean. Two great restaurants nearby- almost next door.

Staff were indifferent and abrupt in their manner. Shower screen in our room was broken so the bathroom floor became wet after a shower. Fused bedside light could not be changed.

Well located near La Ramblas , the cathedral, public transport and many cafes and restaurants. Lovely old hotel.

The staff at the desk seemed bothered when asked a question. In the evening the guy working the counter seemed more interested in what was going on with the computer he would not remove himself from.

The hotel itself is very clean and right in the heart of everything! If you like to walk around and explore you can’t beat the location.

There are a few areas where you may have a short flight of steps to access hallway so be sure to let them know if you have issues with stairs.

The location of this hotel is great with quick access to the metro, taxis, markets and many activities within walking distance. The lobby and rooms were elegant and comfortable. I was able to store my luggage and freshen up before my room was ready. The attached restaurant/bar had delicious Sangria. I didn't have an opportunity to sample the menu. Emails with questions about arranging a taxi were quickly responded to and helpful.

The bathroom was separated from the room by a glass wall and was completely see through without a curtain or any separation. Although I was in the room alone, This meant I needed to close the outside window curtains each time I used the toilet or showered.

Beautiful space. Good location, easy to get to public transportation and active area but the hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly.
