Located away from the centre, near a train station. For tickets, our bank passes didn't work, and there was no possibility to pay cash. Luckily, the receptionist lent us a travel card to use, so put money on the card via the app. Worked perfectly. Room for 3 was large, clean and quiet.

A few ants were moving around the bathroom. Wifi wasn't clearly advertised, so in my sleep-deprived state it was easier to continue using my data. I may have been very sleep-deprived and not looking, but couldn't see where the restaurant / breakfast would have been, had I been interested. Location meant there was no obvious restaurants nearby, looked like an industrial park.

Staff confident in English, very helpful as I have no Spanish. Room was large and comfortable, and it was nice to have a walk-in shower. Parking available both outside and in an underground car park (very steep access though). Easy to get to from major motorways, and was less than 20mins drive to the port for the ferry the following morning. Staff very helpful at every point. Would stay again if using the Bilbao Port.

No food available in the hotel or initially when we enquired in the nearby restaurant. Lady felt sorry for us and offered us chicken and potatoes which was very nice.

Hotel room was spacious. Beds comfortable. Bathroom fabulous.

The hotel is located in an industrial zone and our room overlooked a fuel depot. No on site catering facilities although a cafe was available in an adjacent building a short walk away for breakfast. The room had minimal facilities and the basic furniture was chipped in places and had cigarette burns.

Convenient to a train station for easy travel into Bilbao. Secure underground parking.

We couldn't get a taxi into the centre of Bilbao as there was no taxi for 5 people so we drove a few miles up to castro urdials for a walk round, sadly the hotel restaurant was not open as we had hoped and when we tried the restaurant next door for an evening meal we were told no, so had to have pizzas delivered instead which was not ideal. This did spoil our stay slightly.

Good location for a stop the night before the ferry back home, very clean, friendly staff and comfortable.
