Very clean and large rooms plus their restaurant service and meals were excellent. The location is in the center of town which means we didn’t need a car to see all of the historic sites and spectacular views.

The hotel cannot be viewed as a contemporary establishment. I think the staff are generally nice - but would encourage the staff on reception to be more outgoing and gregarious.

The location of the hotel is excellent. The restaurant food was excellent and the staff in there very amenable and attentive.

The restrooms at the ground floor were closed the whole time during my stay although I didnt see any construction work going on. They shouldnt be closed just to save costs.

For the breakfast it was not served vegetables ( tomato, paprika...) , but in Spain this was the case in other hotels as well.

Breakfast was delicious, with big variety . Pastries were excellent. We had a beautiful view on the Mediterranean see. The Hotel is near to the city center. We enjoyed our staying there, we would return with pleasure. Staff was helpfull.

The bathroom can be modernized.

It’s an older hotel but the room is spacious and clean. The location is excellent and the fact that it has secure parking space is a big plus.

The restaurant had no food (or bar food) until 9pm, a bit late for us! The facilities are rather run down, e.g. very poor state of the basement lavatories.

Good location fairly near the ferry terminal, right next to a nice beach and easy walk to centre of town. Spacious room (307) with South-facing balcony and had a bathtub. Good a la carte breakfast.

Resturante opened at 9pm, which is fine, but we had a 5am start.

Hotel is perfectly ok however it’s very old fashioned with outdated decor and furnishings. Would love to come back and see it updated to a modern hotel. Has old world charm. Some rooms are closed so maybe it’s getting fixed up slowly?

Check in was quick and easy . Room were very clean and large spacious bathroom and lovely balcony Breakfast was fabulous.. lots of choice . Hot food was mediocre.. and took a long time as each is cooked for order. Hotel is perfect location .. next to beach and in a beautiful square . Free safe parking on site.

Opening times for the swimming pool were a bit too restrictive for us.

We were there to look at the fortifications of Ceuta. As it turned out, the hotel grounds formed part of the fortifications. This was what was special for us - although we suspect that most visitors might not notice, as some elements were far from well advertised. It is within easy walking distance of the ferry terminal and the main bits of Ceuta.

The hotel, which is of a wonderful design, is nontheless in need of a refurbishment. Attention should be paid in the summer months, as there are cockroaches even in the interior of the hotel. The staff did their best to get rid of them when we found one in our room. Furthermore, we were not happy that one of the waiters refused to serve my husband lunch twice and also refused to serve our five year old daughter ice cream one evening, because he had not paid attention nor did he verify that we were guests at the hotel and thought that we had just wandred in from the street! His English was too bad to be able to communicate efficiently. Finally, it was obvious that the windows in our room had not been cleaned for a very long time.

The location is excellent: the hotel is located at a walking distance from the beach and from the city center. The pool is very clean and there is a lifeguard on constant watch. The breakfast is very good, there is sufficient choice, fresh vegetables are included and dishes such as eggs, bacon and churros are made to order. The hotel offers parking, which is very important.

No coffee machine in the room, breakfast didn’t open until 8 am and the hotel itself is just very old.
