The pension is at 2 stairs walk not lift .The owner is very kind but his assistant come be sometime bad and disrespectful.

The Pension is close to heart of the Barcelona the Ramblas and place of Catalunya not far away also to the Barcelona beach. It’s very central

In Barcelona terms it was probably priced accordingly but would not be value for money in other cities

This place is on the third floor 60 steps up a rundown grafittied stair well. My room was basic with bed, wardrobe and basin and cold water. The shared facilities available were only two toilets one with a small shower. The positives were the ability to park baggage until checkin time and the location which is excellent. Also the host generously discounted my booking because I had to return home unexpectedly.

The stair walls to the apartment were full of graffitis and there was construction work being done, the stairs were so old that they had a downward tilt making them a bit dangerous When i arrived for the check in the worker asked me to pay 30€ saying that is barcelona's tax without detailing and without giving me any receipt.. I didn't like that the whole apartment was not ventilated enough and there was a smell of cooking when the staff cooked,smell of smoke and smell of moisture. The public bathroom was not ventilated properly and the bath tub had yellow stains. The window in the room was not sealing properly, the washbasin in the room was shaking and not glued to the wall properly The electric outlets were not working properly making phone charging hard and long The bed's wooden support was held with ductape and the electric fan was loaded with dust

Uncomfortable bed, sink in one of the common toilets not working, windows don't close well (which makes a lot of noise come through, as the area is very loud), the main door of the entrance downstairs didn't close well (for which the building was accessible to anyone, which is not very safe)

The ceiling of the entrance hall is falling down on the stairs and the maintenance of said halls was such that what falls is not even cleansed...

Minimum service but the price was not ruinous. While the overall building is falling down, the room seemed clean enough, as did the toilet.

There are a lot of stairs up to the check-in and no lifts. Luckily, we had left most of our bags at the station, otherwise it would have been very difficult to bring them up. There was very little signage telling where the reception was, and arriving late at night it wasn't a very welcoming foyer. However, the person at the check-in was perfectly nice once we found the reception desk.

Basic hostel, good location. We got the family room, which had two beds and a separate shared bathroom. It was all adequate.

The bed is really horrible, uncomfortable, and noisy and It's very hard to reach the pension (hotel) because it is in the 3rd floor and there isn't the elevator.

Renovation is necessary for the room since the floor and the walls was rattling. Also the room has a lot of moisture

- Very noisy street at room 302 - Molds on toilet ceiling and room walls - Musty smell at the reception sometimes - As specified in the details, you have to climb up to 2° floor. The stairs are small & steep - Only one shower available for several guests

- Right in the centre. 3 mins walking from Catalunya station - Clean sheets - After checking out, they allowed us to leave the bags in the pension until 6PM - Shared shower & toilet were kept clean & with dry floor as much as possible

The balcony is dirty, there is a net hanging from above, where there are a lot of pigeon droppings. While we were out of the room, the staff came in and, without warning, hung other people's towels to dry on our balcony. The rooms in the photo look much better than in real life. There are a lot of fungi on the ceiling in the bathroom.

The room is pretty clean. The room has its own sink, so you can wash without leaving the room. there was always toilet paper in the common toilet.

The place is scaring and the entrance is worst

I was highly dissapointed because going inside the hotel is scaring. It's like one is in killer zone. I didn't sleep there at all because I was scared.

Location is in the very center of Barcelona, which also means that there is some street noise, but who cares about that?

The room was a little too responsive in my oppinion. I could hear other peoples conversations. Three flors up without an elevator.

This is an acceptable place to stay. The staff is nice and helpful and the hotel is near La Rambla in the city centre. It is clean and I felt it was safe. The building is somewhat derelict with hard grafitti but that didnt put me off as it reminded me of a lot of hotels I stayd in in South America.
